Keeping It Heel ranks the Tar Heels’ scholarship players from 1 to 13

The North Carolina Tar Heels are now one-third of the way through their Atlantic Coast Conference schedule, winning five of their first six games — including three on the road and two against ranked opponents.

We’ve seen both good and bad out of the Tar Heels so far. From a terrible home loss to Louisville, to statement wins over NC State and Virginia Tech, it’s been difficult to predict which North Carolina team will take the court on a given night.

In a turn of events that has absolutely no rhyme or reason, we’ve taken it upon ourselves at Keeping It Heel to compile the most complete and comprehensive power ranking among current scholarship Tar Heels over the first six conference games. Through rigorous statistical analysis, and with a completely subjective tilt, we’ve ranked the Tar Heels from No. 1 all the way down to 13.

Make no mistake, this list is completely arbitrary in nature, and virtually useless in the real world. But hey, you’re at work and looking for ways to blow time, so why not? And if you disagree, let us know. We’ll revisit this list at the mid-way point of the conference season, a little over three weeks from now.

So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the best that Keeping It Heel has to offer on a slow news day.
