TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — It's been almost four months since Vinnie Sunseri tore his ACL.
His final play in an Alabama uniform was a kickoff and now he's training for the NFL. His father Sal Sunseri said he was well ahead of schedule in the rehab process.
And Vinnie posted a video on his Instagram account (and 12,000 followers) Tuesday night to update the progress.
A week earlier, he posted this look at the training routine.
Sunseri opted against his senior season at Alabama to turn pro last month. He made 20 tackles in seven games while returning interceptions for touchdowns in each of the first two games of the season.
His year ended early in the Oct. 29 win over Arkansas when suffering the knee injury covering a kickoff.
