Penn State coach James Franklin grilled by radio host Paul Finebaum on flipping recruits

It's been recounted many times over the past month that while James Franklin has been showered with praise and welcomed with open arms at Penn State, there were a lot of hurt feelings left behind at his previous stop in Vanderbilt.

The issue of

at Vanderbilt and, in turn, bringing those players to Penn State has been debated at length, but very few people, if any, have debated Franklin directly.

But

, a regular contributor to ESPN college football, pressed Franklin on the issue this week just after National Signing Day. The interview began cordially, but turned a little testy when Finebaum didn't accept Franklin's answers to his questions.

At one point, Franklin and Finebaum were talking over and past one another until Finebaum cut off the Penn State coach to challenge him on whether or not it's right that he got several of his Vandy recruits to become members of the Nittany Lions.
