#DrivingDirtyZA – Help save water and Drive Dirty!
By now most of us are aware of the worrying water shortages in South Africa. With little rain and high temperatures water restrictions have been put in place in many areas in an effort to conserve our most precious natural resource.
Hopefully most of us are doing our part to help save water and if you’re looking for some great ways to do your bit, you can start with your car!

A water saving campaign called #DrivingDirtyZA encourages South Africans to not wash their cars and let them get dirty instead. Once your car has collected enough dirt it’s time to get arty:
Instead of writing ‘wash me’ write #DrivingDirtyZA in the dirt of your car, take a picture of your dirty car and post it to social media along with the hashtag.
“Be proud of it. Be proud that you are doing your part!” says Dylan Savage, a Cape Town lifestyle blogger for Life is Savage.
