247sports.com composite rating: Lawrence is rated the 19th-best defensive tackle in the country and the seventh-best prospect overall in the state of Georgia. He's listed as one of the top 50 prospects out of the junior college level by 247sports.com, which rates him a four-star prospect.

How he fits into Auburn's plans: Another piece to the depth chart puzzle for the Tigers, who have made it no secret that they are trying to rebuild the defense starting with the front four. Lawrence will have three years to play once he graduates from Georgia Military College later this spring.
Projections for 2014: Junior college players are expected to contribute immediately but Lawrence could afford a year to sit back and learn. He has a big frame and could use some time in the weight room to adjust to the SEC, which he could see some valuable playing time in 2015 and 2016. He walked on at Georgia Military and has a desire to continue to improve after being overlooked.
