This Friday, join NYSWU in celebrating new work by the legendary DAVE TAYLOR. As one of the world’s finest trombonists, Dave Taylor has performed with everyone from Miles Davis to The Rolling Stones and is recognized as a pillar of both originality and musical versatility. As recipient of National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Most Valuable Player Award five years in a row, Taylor continues to perform with a host of world class ensembles.

Taylor will be joined by The NY Trombone Consort conducted by Whitney George. He will present performances of two original pieces will be recorded & filmed live. Please join us to witness this master in action.

Kicking off the night will be LITTLE WORLDS, an ensemble devoted to radical and brave re-imaginings of the Mikrokosmos collection by Bela Bartok.
