PM Modi seeking votes to make Amit Shah PM, claims Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal reiterated his claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seeking votes to make Amit Shah the PM after Modi turns 75 next year and that Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath - the last remaining 'thorn' in Shah's path to becoming PM - would be 'removed' as soon as BJP comes to power again. The fact that no BJP leader had till now come to speak in Adityanath's favour is a testimony to this, he said while addressing a joint press conference with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow.

"If BJP can give any big number, why can't we say something to enthuse our cadre?" he has been telling reporters on the election trail.

Kejriwal now has a bigger worry than elections: His fracturing party

Just as out-on-bail Kejriwal began rejuvenating AAP, he got embroiled in the Swati Maliwal episode, which now seems to cloud all else.
