January +123.42 points profit and a big THANK YOU for keeping your faith.

If we can continue the whole year in the same vain as January I am sure we will all be happy! Although there have been days where the number of selections have been a little daunting for some subscribers but it is important that when the percentages are in our favour we grab the opportunities.

In reverse order here is the breakdown of for the month on each selection method.

ON THE MONEY: +14.75 POINTS
Although we have made a profit the strike rate was very disappointing and the profit was largely due to 20-1 True Spirit on the 17th January.

TRIP HANDICAP: +16.96 POINTS
The method of selection will always point to shorter priced horses in the market so no surprise to see a 50% strike rate with 13 winners from the 26 selections. The highlights were Blackthorn Stick 8-1 on the 10th January and Imjin River 7-1 0n the 27th January. There was a period between 7th – 21st January where we strung together a run of 9 consecutive winners!

SPEED & CLASS: +28.54 POINTS
This is the method that produces most selections so it was pleasing to record a 38.5% strike rate from 78 selections. Although all winners were below 10-1 a quick scan through the selections reminded me of several big priced selections that just failed.

THE ACTUARY: +63.17 POINTS
A handsome return for the month as you would expect from the flagship method. 38 selections provided a strike rate 0f just over 47% with the highlights being Putin 10-1 and Cosquillas 11-1. We are also on a little run coming in to February of 5 consecutive winners which could have been 7 if 14-1 Cabuchon had not narrowly failed when flashing home from the back of the pack on 30th January.

TOTAL PROFIT: +123.42 POINTS

January I hope will be ample reward for subscribers after poor returns during November and December 2013 and I would like to thank you all for keeping your faith.

Have a good day if you are playing at Lingfield Park and this evenings added Wolverhampton fixture, remember, added fixtures are as much an added opportunity for Trainers to work a horse mark down as they are to win some prize money!

Have fun J
