Alexander's Arman Salon & Spa

It's wonderful and convenient to have so many services under one roof...hair, make-up, nails, spa services, even a smoothie bar while you wait. The place is big and the it's pretty easy to get an appointment with the great hours they have. My girls and I have been going to Katie Burns for many years to get our hair done. Highly recommend her!

Very few things can get me on the 91 freeway.. and Iliana's Beauty Bar is numero uno.

I've been following Iliana for years and was pleasantly surprised when she landed at Alexander's Arman Salon & Spa in Corona/Riverside.

This salon houses dozens of incredible cosmetologists and estheticians. Services range from hair cuts to brows, facials, and nails.

Iliana specializes on all things hair, but really shines when it comes to coloring, toning, balayage, etc. Her private studio sits in the left-front corner of the salon and offers both a luxurious and relaxing feel. I love how secluded the space is since I tend to treat my hair appointments like therapy sessions.

In the past few years Iliana has given my hair chocolatey undertones, highlights, balayage, and recently brought me to a dark brunette. I've loved each cut/style better than the last. She always exceeds my expectations.

Besides my go-to cosmetologist, the biggest perk of the salon is their onsite eatery. Our Happy Place Cafe serves coffee, smoothies, breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, burritos, and more. I've found that a light snack/bevvy is the perfect combination to a 2+ hour hair appointment. I'm shocked that other salons in Orange County/Riverside haven't included similar concepts.

Okay, this was my second time here. The first time, it was good. This second time, I called and asked for a Saturday appointment. The owner said I'd have a great person, Ruby, and that she was great w her cuts.
It was SO bad. My cut was incredibly choppy. My front sections of hair are longer than the bottom/back portion of my hair!!! Very clear when my hair it all parted forward over my shoulders.

Additionally, I asked for face framing/curtain bangs and what I got was NOT that!!!! It was so bad I told Ruby it looked bad. She kept cutting and cutting and couldn't fix it. She eventually had to call over another stylist (Jackie I believe) so come over and "fix" it. Even then, SO CHOPPY!!!! See pictures for reference.

I wonder if it was because Ruby kept answering phone calls while cutting my hair from her boyfriend, and that's why the cut was so horrible. Never coming back her again.

I'm incredibly upset. I called back to speak with the owner, who promised me I was in good hands. Waiting to hear back.....

If anyone has good stylist recommendations, let me know.

My first time going to this salon and I was appointed with Kelly and she was amazing!! Wanted to do a simple cut and bangs and she was so patient and caring. She prioritized how I felt and what I wanted the entire time and it came out great!

Will definitely be coming back :)

I'm a busy mom who rarely takes time for herself for things like a haircut. I called this salon because they're near my house and had good reviews. I called in specifically asked that I wanted someone who is good at haircuts and I even said if there's like a master stylist or someone who specializes in cuts. The person they put me with is not someone who answers and cuts they're more of a color person and she didn't do my color which I found to be decent but my cut was a complete train wreck and it is seriously horrible I am so unhappy. I just took a shower and let my hair dry and this is what I am left with. There's just no way you can say that's a good cut. I would have been better off at a fantastic Sams or hair school.


EDIT: Spoke to the owner. Immediately she was concerned with her Online reviews (not my situation). It was the first words out of her mouth.

Didn't bother to look at the picture I posted and told me to come in so she can "take a look" at my cut and "potentially" place with me another stylist. I'm sorry that's not how it works. I'm telling you the cut is terrible, I don't need you to look at it and tell me if it is or not. I know you care about your reviews, but you need to care about clients first. It was extremely evident she could care less about me by the way she talked to me and was definitely interested in getting me to take my review down. Sorry, I will leave my truthful review up.

This was my first time going to this salon and I am
very impressed. The interior feels very luxurious. Andrea toned and did a wolf cut for me, and I'm very happy with the results. I have a lot of hair and the layers really helped to give my hair shape. I would trust Andrea with my life.

Ruby gave me the best haircut in my entire life! I'm a curly-haired 70-year old and this haircut is the only one I've ever absolutely loved.

Iliana is the best hair stylist there is. She always leaves my hair feeling healthy and looking beautiful. The Salon is very beautiful and clean. It has a food bar as well.

Been getting my nails done by Betsy for 5yrs & all I gotta say is that she's the BEST!!!!! I highly recommend her to get u looking right

Andrea (ig @ the_sharp_edge) is my go to stylist!! Andrea has been doing me and my families hair for the past 3 years and never misses. She is vivids expert and always comes thru with my crazy ideas. Alexander's is also a good, clean salon with super friendly staff. Look up Andrea and check out her work on IG

To keep it short, this hairstylist is very rude to her customers. Be aware when you take an appointment, she can ignore your messages all day and cancel last minute on you!
