Every week, the Charlotte 49ers men's basketball program will post a new Know Your Niner profile. This week's Know Your Niner profile is redshirt senior guard Hudson Price.
 
Last season, Price saw action in 28 games with two starts. He recorded five double-figure scoring games and one 20-point scoring game. He enjoyed his best performance of the season with 23 points while going six-for-six from the field, four-for-four from beyond the three-point line and seven-for-eight from the free throw line in the 49ers road win at Elon, November 14. Price connected on at least two three-point field goals in eight games.
 
What is your favorite movie? Nacho Libre

What is your favorite food? Pizza

What is your favorite basketball drill? Three on two and two on one

If you could have dinner with any three famous people, who would they be? Pete Maravich, Larry Bird and Michael Jordan.

Do you have any pre game rituals? No not really, I just try to stretch a lot and get loose, and try to eat a healthy meal.

Who has been the most influential person in your basketball career? My dad (Mark Price), he has taught me everything I know about the game of basketball.

You recently graduated with a degree in Finance, why did you pick that major? Just something, I have been interested in since my freshman year. I did an internship with a financial planner and I really liked it a lot and decided that's what I wanted to do.

What is the best thing about being here at Charlotte?  I love the school and being in a big city.

What is it like to play home games in Halton Arena? I love it, it is a great arena, we have a loyal fan base, and it is fun to play in front of them.

What are your goals for the season? To win the Conference USA Tournament title and to have a good regular season.

What is a fun fact about yourself? I like to play golf, and I really enjoy watching MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)

Why did you choose your number? Twenty-one has been my favorite number since eighth grade.
