Golf Travel JournalGolfers keen for tips on beautiful destinations and fantastic courses have a great new digital option. The iPad and iPhone magazine Golf Travel Journal – available at Apple’s App Store – has been launched by the golf publishing company Golf Media.

Golf Travel Journal offers practical information and stunning golf photography from courses across the world.

The first issue of Golf Travel Journal features articles from the British Isles, Continental Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and China. Readers are taken to the shores of the Black Sea at the dramatic Thracian Cliffs course in Bulgaria and to Morocco and Tunisia in North Africa. They’re offered a glimpse of subtropical Aruba in the Dutch Antilles and can discover the fastest-growing golf market in the world on Hainan Island in southern China.

“Golfers today are world travellers and they’re always looking for ideas for their next dream holiday,” says Bo Sjosten, editor-in-chief of Golf Travel Journal. “We’re here to give them the best previews, so they can get the most out of their vacation – whether it’s a weekend getaway or a once-in-a-lifetime trip to an exotic golf paradise.”

Golf Travel Journal will publish quarterly, featuring varied, alluring destinations. The premier digital issue is available for free in the Apple App Store – search for ‘Golf Travel Journal’.

The magazine’s editors focus on seeing the courses through the eyes of the amateur golfer. “We visit and review the courses, presenting the results so that each golfer can find the course that’s right for him or her,” says Sjosten.
