I hear on the new there are a lot of car thefts at the airport. How safe is your car at parkdia?
A:
I can't speak for everyone but I park there often and have never had or seen any issues.

How far is it in to the airport from this parking area and if we are going overseas would we give ourselves more time with the shuttle company?

I believe they are 5 miles from the airport and it takes maybe 7 minutes to get to the terminal. You don't need extra time for an overseas flight b'c of the shuttle, I would be more concerned with the line for security and check-in. We have flown… more

Omg I was so afraid when I saw these reviews, especially when I was traveling by myself late at night, but I can't say enough good things! The booking reservations, the customer service and the drivers were all top notch! They even picked me
up and dropped me off at my car. Service so good in Jan 2024 that I recently flew again with my whole
Family in April 2024 and had the same wonderful service!!

Sure it's cheap! That's about it. Expect to be waiting upwards of 45 minutes for a 5 minute ride to the airport. Consider parking elsewhere if you value time.

We waited for a ridiculously long time in the cold... two shuttles came... none of them loaded... for 20 minutes ... while an entire crowd stood outside in the cold. One shuttle proceeded to leave with zero customers inside. Save yourself the heartache and use another shuttle service ...

I notmaly really like this due to the sense of urgency they normally treat everyone catching a flight... until you get on the van I was just on. ZERO rush, in fact we (at uncovered parking) went all the way over to covered parking to help a family of 8 that weee chaotic. What normally takes 10 minutes, took 20 plus minutes. The driver kept saying I am not allowed to go over there (good, we are all in a rush) instead we pulled over and waited for them to find a space, get their bags and simply took forever. Listen, I get customer service but when you a can full of people NOT with the family with 17 kids and 2 setts of grandparents., please don't hold everyone up eating for a 5 am flight it's already stressful enough.

I have gotten deals for $8.00 a day but $12.00 seems to be about the average. Prepped the email and screen shot the QR code and just drive right in.
1.) They open early. I had a 5:15 am flight and no problem, someone is working that early.
2.) MULTIPLE busses so you wait less than a minute when you arrive, even at 4 am. They direct you where to park and a bus is right there waiting for you.
3.) They give you a card so you don't have forget where you parked in a sea of cars.
4.) You arrive to the airport in about 15 minutes. I have never waited more than 5 minutes on the bus waiting for other passengers.
5.) They take you to your airline.
6.) When you land you go to the East or West door (at baggage claim) and they tell you the number on the door. Walk across the road where cars are picking up and boom, there's your bus and usually multiple ones are waiting.
7.) My last piece of advice is don't be cheap when selecting the arrival and departure time. I always pick the time so close to my landing and departure and always get sooo nervous I'll be late or get charged more. I do not know why I do this. I have never noticed a difference in price when I make it an hour or 2 after and before arrival and departure. So if you plan on getting there at 5... just make it for 3. I was an hour early once and they let me in but I was so nervous they wouldn't. Just play it safe!
I will NEVER Uber again. So easy and nicer to come back to your car.
MY ONLY other SUGGESTION... if it's snowing or could be when you get back, pay for covered parking as after a long flight, having to wait for my window to defrost and dig out my car was no fun.

They finally have their shuttle pick ups to a great 5-10 minute wait, and we get to the lot...shuttle is full and the driver goes to ride share first. What!?? There were 8 people who knew where there car was parked and we spent 20 minutes looking for a ride share car. While the other 8 drivers waited to be dropped at there car. We generally park inside to avoid this, and shame on me for thinking ParkDia had upped their game. NOPE! Oh, watch out for the Grand Canyon pot holes. In the dark you cannot see them. Deep enough you might need an alignment when you leave.

Oct 28, 2019Previous reviewI have an opportunity to get this establish a zero I would. I waited 35 minutes for a shuttle, I pre-reserved it to get the seven dollar a day rate it wouldn't let me in the parking lot. Therefore I ended up paying $10 a day so something that should've cost me $28 cost me $49. Stay far away from this establishment.

The guy tries to nearly double the price because he had to take the time... when their system was the issue, considering the app/ website aren't working. Refused to match the price I had agreed to online after I had already had to spend all that time on their crappy website. Awful!! Im just going to go to any other service!!

ParkDIA did a good job my first two or three times with them. However, last night it took about 90 minutes between the time I entered the line to await a pickup at DIA, actually was able to board a bus, finally arrived at my car, and exited the parking facility. The massive line awaiting a pickup at DIA was shocking and customers were upset. This is unacceptable performance for a company, especially since ParkDIA has no excuse not to adjust their response to demand using the ETA information attached in each reservation. Will not park here again.

Charging 50% more if you don't reserve plus a 10% fuel charge! Not a great deal. Won't use again!
