One of Canada’s biggest retailers of outdoor and adventure gear is coming to Kitchener.
Mountain Equipment Co-Op, or MEC, announced Thursday that it will open an 18,000-square-foot store at Fairway Road and Manitou Drive in spring 2017.
MEC offers products and clothing geared toward various outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, cycling, running and general fitness.
Its Kitchener store will also include equipment rental, as well as a bike repair and ski tech shop.
