Alacrify is pleased to announce the relaunch of the Butterflies Cancer Support Group Dorchester website.

We have just relaunched a new website for the Butterflies Cancer Support Group. Butterflies is small, friendly and welcoming cancer support group in Dorchester, Dorset. They're here to support local people who are living with any kind of cancer; and they welcome those who have cancer, and those who live with and support those with cancer.

Butterflies needed a new website that was easier to use and a design that appealed to everyone. We also moved Butterflies from WordPress on to our Content Management System. Along with these updates we also built in a ‘newsletter builder’ system where the website can compile a newsletter (chosen by Butterflies) from the news that’s been posted to the website aswell as being able to add in an introduction to this months newsletter and that can then be sent to their list of subscribers.

The new website is now a completely ‘responsive’ design, which means it ‘collapses’ down for all screen sizes including tablets and mobiles. It passes all of Google’s ‘mobile-friendliness’ tests, so it is listed on Google searches as an ‘awesome’ responsive website.

Butterflies is a great charitable project to be behind, their group is entirely made up of Volunteers. They meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month between 2pm & 4pm at "The Quiet Space" in Poundbury. If cancer has affected you in anyway then we’d highly recommend getting in touch with Butterflies.
