Sushi for beginners - Roll up, roll up! Do you know your Maki from your California? Imari pocket from your gunkan?
Healthy and delicious and VERY thrifty, Sushi is the fastest growing foodstuff on the planet Once youve tasted the fresh stuff, youll never want to eat shop bought sushi again.
About the teacher - Pan has an encyclopaedic knowledge of far eastern food. She is a classically trained chef who has worked at some of the best restaurants in the north east. She has a relaxed and friendly style, with a focus on enjoying cooking.

IMPORTANT WORKSHOP INSTRUCTIONS please read carefully.
**Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes before the start time of your workshop for a prompt start.
The venue of your workshop is in Kirkleatham Sixth Form School Building. If you have any problems there will be a ticket help desk at Kirkleatham Sixth Form School and Kirkleatham Museum.
The Festival of Thrift, 17-18 September, open 10-5pm daily.

There is one ticket per person as places are limited. Please only attend if you have a ticket, or if you are supervising a minor.
Kirkleatham is a big site. It could take you 20 minutes to get across site and find your workshop space. Please leave plenty of time.
Unfortunately we are unable to swap or refund workshop tickets.

Parking is available (£5 per car so fill your car!), please following the on-site signs when arriving at the festival site.
