Here at ELLEDECOR.com we supplement our design obsession with frequent check-ins with the fashion blogosphere, and Fashionista.com is on our daily must-read list. So when we heard that the team at Homepolish was helping them makeover their office, we were banging down the door to share a first look here.

The Fashionista team worked with Homepolish designer, Danielle Arps, to bring in accents inspired by the fashion world—bright colors, innovative shapes, and unique prints, like the metallic marbled wallpaper from Calico. They also played with scale and texture, introducing items like the oversized lamp and Moroccan rug to create an environment that's stimulating enough to keep them on their toes as they cover the goings-on of models, designers, street style stars and more. (In fact, we're willing to bet any of the subjects of their posts, from Kate Moss to Jenna Lyons, would be happy to stop by and settle in for a chat in the exuberantly-patterned chairs.)

Personally, we're even more excited for our daily check-ins to the site now that we know where they're working from. The only thing missing here? A thick stack of ELLE DECORs to flip through when they're looking to supplement their own obsession with something else. We'll messenger them right over.

I own far too many throw pillows, and dream of leaving my Brooklyn rental behind for a home I can wallpaper lavishly. Have a suggestion for the site (or for my dream home’s wallpaper)? I’d love to hear it via Twitter!
