Pre-med student Sarah Jones is back in Beaver, Alaska, for summer vacation. A loyal member of the Gwich’in tribe, she accepts the rules set by her father, the leader of their small town. Raised in a strict household, she learned early on to do what is expected of her and has agreed to an arranged marriage. Despite her reluctance to marry without love, Sarah is unwilling to defy her father’s wishes. She hopes to help usher in an era of independence and stability for the town, but for now, her focus is finishing med school so she can become Beaver’s resident doctor.

Business owner Greg Andrews wants to escape his philandering wife and his life in general. Leaving New York City to join a hunting expedition in Alaska, Greg’s plans are turned upside down when he is shot on Gwich’in land and ends up on Sarah’s operating table. In the absence of a qualified doctor, Sarah must operate to save his life. She refuses to wait for the consent of their tribal leader, and her father banishes her from the tribal land in punishment.

Grateful for his life, Greg concocts a scheme to help. Plagued by the side effects of her unconventional operation, he convinces Sarah to become his live-in nurse. Without the means to support herself, Sarah agrees to the questionable arrangement, but she soon finds herself in even more trouble. Her new problem is that she is falling in love with this infuriating man, and the choices she now must make are much more difficult than the simple act of saving a man’s life.

Together, Sarah and Greg must both decide whether they can overcome the vast differences between them, or if the indivisible line that separates their worlds will ultimately pull them apart.

First off I have to say, this isn't really my genre. It is very much a love story and whilst I have no issue with love stories within books I am not one for full out love stories. But, and this is a big but. This book was incredibly enjoyable. In fact I read it within a couple of days of getting it. The story is very well written, the plot develops into an interesting story and actually at one point, when the characters move away, it was an unexpected twist in the story and one which I found interesting. The characters are believable and to som extent unbelievable at the same time, which is always good as it gives a good level of depth to the character. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to you to read, it was enjoyable.

I love reading love story and the character of this book are easy to follow. The story is emotionally intense and Lorenz Font able to bring out the quality and consistency of an exciting, engaging and thrilling love and hate story with a touch of diversity of her book. I recommend for everyone to read this compelling book. It will capture your heart.

Sarah Jones comes from a strict and “behind the times” tribe in Beaver, Alaska who happens to be led by her father, Ahila. Sarah wants to get out and live in the “real world” but is bound by loyalty and tradition which includes an arranged marriage. One thing Sarah knows she wants, regardless of the promise of marriage since birth, is her desire to help people and become a doctor.

A sudden chain of events turns Sarah and her life in Beaver upside down, starting with gunshot victim, Greg Andrews. Sarah has to choose between tribal law and her vow to “first do no harm” and save this handsome strangers life.

From the moment Greg and Sarah meet, their destiny seems to have been forever intertwined. Even before she is able to find out if he survived her emergency surgery, he is at the forefront of her thoughts and she his. These two come together, and not in a way I would have ever guessed.

Sarah reluctantly becomes his live-in nurse while he recovers and she finishes school after being banished by her father and no place else to go. Though the arrangement is less than amicable, we slowly see them fall in love. Sarah is a bit naïve and Greg is troubled by his father’s constant criticism of him and his choice to let Sarah move in. In the meantime, the man who shot Greg, his ex-best friend Cade and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Cassandra are still plotting against him in an attempt to get his money.

While Greg, his body guard Simon, and a private eye try to find Cade and prove Cassandra was involved to keep her from getting half of his fortune, Sarah becomes more important and harder to resist.

Lorenz does a great job showing the snarky side of Sarah, but also the loyal and honest woman who only wants to see Greg happy and healthy, even if it is with Cassandra. Sarah and Greg soon realize that their feelings are mutual, but circumstances seem to keep pushing them apart. The contrast between Greg and Sarah, the differences in their lifestyles and what the hope for the future is well played out and had me rooting for them to realize they could be good together.

The research that the author did regarding the Gwich’in tribe, their traditions and customs was amazing and though I was appalled at the banishment, I was completely convinced that it is exactly what would have happened, even in this day and age. I love how she posed the conflict of the two sides of both families, including a sense of prejudice not only from Greg’s father, but Sarah’s father due to his “old school” beliefs. The underlying tone was there throughout but never pushy or offensive, but makes you aware how real it still is and how hurtful it can be.

All in all, I loved the budding romance, the interaction between Greg and Sarah as they try to find themselves after traumatic events and come to terms with their differences. The underlying mystery of Cade and Cassandra plotting to kill Greg and take his money, the truth that comes out about Greg’s parents, and the arranged marriage hanging over Sarah’s head keeps the emotional roller-coaster coming until the very end.

I was very pleased with how it all came together, the healing and ultimate realization that fate and destiny are very real and most always gets its happily ever after.

I highly recommend this wonderful and thrilling love story proving that love can overcome, but the journey might just take all you’ve got if you don’t fight for what you believe in.

Two people, thrown together by coincidence develop a bond that goes much deeper than blood. Sarah and Greg experience loss, injury and much more as they come to realise that, when all is said and done, love is really all they needed from the start.

I thoroughly enjoyed this new offering from Font and found it to be a delightful little romance that was easy to read, yet full of twists and turns as Greg and Sarah tried to work out their feelings for each other. The plot itself does, at first glance, seem somewhat familiar - girl meets boy, two different worlds, and all that usual jazz - but this is Font we're talking about, and you can feel from the first few chapters that there is going to be something more in this story. In true style, Font throws in adversity and drama from the off, never overdoing the 'woe is me' that Sarah could play on, but keeping a perfect balance between angst and romance.

Characterisation is something that I am always on the look out for, and Font, as usual, delivers a super cast who you engage with and find quite easy to relate to. Sarah is as stubborn as a mule, but it works more as an endearing feature than a character flaw. You root for her, you want her life to come good, you want her to find that happiness you know she deserves. Greg is an enigma at first, and he never really sheds that persona until much later in the story, but again, it is an endearing part of his character, rather than a flaw. The supporting ensemble of Lily, Trimble, Matilda and Simon are equally enjoyable to read, helping at key points to be a stable feature for Sarah and Greg during times of need.

If there was one thing I could quibble over it would be, and I'm being super nit-picky here, the pace. Personally, I found the pace to be a little slow in places, but note the 'in places' - at other times, it was splendid and pulled you right into the story so that you had to keep reading. Once you reach 50%, the book is near impossible to put down, but I guess I just wanted that momentum there from a little earlier on rather than taking that extra bit of time. Like I said, nit-picky, but that's me!

Something I felt was done exceedingly well in this book was the emotion, be it Sarah's sadness, confusion, love or Greg's anger, worry or determination - it was all there and it was all believable from start to finish. I got exasperated when both Sarah and Greg were being daft and not noticing the signs, I cried for most of the last 10% (no spoilers in my reviews, but seriously, get yourself some tissues at 89%!) and I gasped in shock as plot twists hit me out of nowhere (you'd think I'd be used to this after reading Font's other works, but she totally got me again). It was written with excellent skill and balance, and I have to give praise where it's due, because Font did a fantastic job of making the emotions pour out of the page and straight into your heart.

And so, the end of another review. To conclude, it was a very enjoyable read and one I'll be recommending to friends and family ahead of that poolside reading time we call summer holidays. Characters, emotion, plot - all the key elements were there and it was, as always, a very well written story from start to finish. Well done Lorenz Font, you've written another super story that will no doubt be one I shall return to read one day in the future.

I received ARC version of this book for honest review.

I must admit, I usually just read paranormal books, so it takes a lot from the book for me to actually to like it, so I was happily surprised when I found myself enjoying reading this book.

Sarah is a young medical student who is helping her tribe clinic in small town in Alaska called Beaver.
Her father Ahila seems to wait big things from her, like taking over the clinic when she graduates and arranged marriage to Trimble, who would this way become the next leader of their tribe, but he is actually in love with Sarah’s best friend Lily who loves him too.
Greg goes to hunting trip with his best friend after he informed his wife that he would be divorcing her and soon after they land he gets shot. Some members from Sarah’s tribe find him and hurry him to the clinic where Sarah must act fast to save his life, which ends up her getting banished from her tribe.
Greg can’t forget the woman who saved his life and makes everything he can to find her, and makes her a deal she can’t refuse.

I admire the kind of character Lorenz had written Sarah to be, strong, honest and sensitive. It made me feel like I was her character which made it easier to get inside her character.

To me this story was about duty, honor and most of all love, and I can say with my sincerest thoughts that this book is the one you won’t want to miss and I am glad to give it full five stars.

***Update***

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. it was a nice easy read which made me smile (and well up) in places.

The main character of Sarah was very likeable and came across and strong, ambitious and determined to have her own life even though the tribe and life in Beaver means so much to her.

Enter Greg, who turns out to not only to be the beginning of her troubles, but also the solution.

I did like him even though he was a little egotistical and controlling (with reason considering how he and Sarah meet). His POV show that a lot of what he says and does in front of Sarah is little more than a front, and I liked seeing that side to him.

The story itself follows a simple and well trodden path. Boy meets girl, they fall out etc… but Font manages to weave her own path with finesse and simplistic writing which helped me fly through the entire book in less than 24 hours.

The added side story that involves Sarah’s life in Beaver under the control of her father was excellently executed and added another level of depth to the book, especially when Sarah and her father are reunited. – This is where I almost cried!

All in all, it’s a great read, and as I already enjoy Font’s writing style, I will definitely read more by this author!

Sarah is home in Beaver for summer vacation, where life is a bit different from the one she is living in LA at medical school. In Beaver, they still live by old traditions including; arranged marriages, working throughout the town where tourist sometimes come to hunt, and they trade to produce income at times.
While Sarah is home her job is to help run the medical clinic, which is never eventful. That is until Sarah is brought a gunshot victim, Greg. She now must decide whether to do what is right or do what the tribe expects her to do, since Greg is a “white man”.
Once Sarah and Greg part ways they both cannot get each other off their minds and it’s not until they meet again does their story really begin.
Sarah was such a strong character; she stood up for herself many times for herself against many people. Her love story with Greg was great as well; I really was rooting for them the whole time. Of course this would be a story without people challenging their relationship and very much hated characters. There were plenty of characters that I did not like at all and some that I loved!
Lorenz Font always does a great job developing a story line and characters that just pulls at your heart strings!

Lexi's Review

Indivisible Line by Lorenz Font is a gripping story that narrates the hard lives of Sarah Jones and Gregory Andrews, Jr.
Sarah Jones—daughter of Ahila, Tribal Chief of the Alaskan Gwich’in Tribe—didn’t have an easy life due to numerous restrictions for herself and what her small village had to offer. Gregory Andrews, Jr. (Greg, as everyone called him) is a millionaire who likes to hunt in Alaska. Everything will take a turn for the worse when one of them gets hurt.
This story is not angst-free, but I don’t think it would work without seeing the pain this pair goes through. The plot is filled with cliffhangers and drama so intense that it grabs you and hangs on tight from the beginning to the very end.
Indivisible Line is amazingly well written in third person, giving you a glimpse into the minds of both Sarah and Greg. I highly recommend this story to angst-lovers and to whomever wants to read a beautiful and intriguing love story. In all honesty, I hope to be reading a sequel to this.

I seriously love Lorenz Font's work!

Indivisible Line gives us Sarah and Greg, two very different people who find themselves thrown together thanks to terrible timing. Somehow, they manage to fall in love despite the obstacles they face. If only life were truly that easy....

One thing Font excels at is tact. Skillfully she handles the ever present racism that surrounds Sarah and Greg. There were moments when I literally gasped out loud but Font weaves such an excellent tale that I could not put this book down. I was astounded at the twists and turns and loved the way each of the characters found their way.

I'd say this book is about forgiveness. Sarah could easily be the patron saint of forgiveness. She is such a calm, even keel and never truly gives up hope that her HEA is coming. And when it does? It is so worth it.

I absolutely love this modern day Pocahontas story. Lorenz never takes the easy route and this story certainly tugs every heart string that exists. She's definitely an author to watch!

This story was so heartwarming. The characters are well developed and your just feel for them.

Sarah is a medical student with a lot that is expected of her. She is a member of the Gwich’in tribe and the daughter of the chief. She is betrothed to Trimble, who is the true love of her best friend. Sarah is wanting more for her lift, but her culture and duty is dictated for her. Greg comes from a wealthy and powerful family.
Their worlds collide due to an accident. He is fighting for his life and Sara holds his life in her hands. But the drama doesn’t stop there. As their loves grows things come to a climax. She faces a choice between her culture and her ethics. What will the choice be? Will they overcome the challenges or will it be their undoing? Read and find out.

This story has you turned upside down. The story is a quick read and is brilliant. I loved learning about Sarah’s tribe. Sarah and Greg’s relationship is tender and you can feel the emotion. This book is fun and a quick read.

It's like reading your favorite telenovela, only better. Each chapter has the right element of intrigue, suspense and drama to make it hard for you to drop the book for a toilet break. And just when you think you have the ending all figured out, author Lorenz Font takes you to one last twisted corner for a final kick before handing you the conclusion.

Sadly, though, this book needs better copy editing. I wonder what happened to the missing prepositions and linking verbs?

I love stories about arranged marriages, because I'm endlessly fascinated by how people cope when they're plunged into circumstances beyond their control.

Sarah is a member of the Gwich’in tribe of Alaska, also known as the Caribou People. They maintain their ancient traditions in the modern world, though it's often a struggle, especially for young people. In this respect, it's similar to the struggle the Amish face, who also sometimes lose their young people to the temptations of modern life.

Sarah feels she couldn't leave, even if she wanted to. The tribe paid for her college education, and she is still a year away from graduating. Her father is the tribe's chief, and it was he who arranged Sarah's impending marriage to Trimble, who works as a guide for the tourists who come to hunt caribou. Sarah has always been obedient to her father, and she's hoping he'll change his mind about her match when he sees what a good job she's doing.

Trimble isn't a bad guy, and he's in line to become the next leader of the tribe, so he's a good match for Sarah, in her father's opinion. Trimble is polite, considerate, and one of the most popular men in town but Sarah just isn't attracted to him. Adding another layer of complication, Sarah's friend Lily has feelings for Trimble.

Suddenly, everything changes. A gunshot victim is brought to the clinic and the doctor isn't in. Even though she's still unlicensed, Sarah knows she has to do whatever she can to save the gorgeous stranger, who makes her heart pound, even as he's laying unconscious on the operating table. She removes the bullet, and gives him a transfusion of her own blood.

The victim is Greg Andrews, shot by a man he thought was a friend, who was having an affair with Greg's soon-to-be ex-wife. When he realizes what's happened to him, he vows revenge. As soon as Sarah has him stabilized, they transport him to a hospital in Fairbanks.

Sarah's father is furious she used the few medical supplies the town had on this outsider, and put the tribe at risk if one of their own had been injured. He expels Sarah from the tribe.

Stunned, but determined to face her uncertain future bravely, Sarah goes back to school, but she's not sure how she's going to pay for her tuition. While she's still thinking over her options (and still thinking about that beautiful wounded stranger) a car pulls up beside her on the street. Before she can react, Sarah is grabbed and pushed into the car.

Despite these terrifying circumstances, Sarah keeps a clear head. She wakes up in a stranger's home and is told by a female employee that she can sort it all out with Mr. Andrews. Sarah hopes when she meets him, she can convince him to let her go. To her shock, he turns out to be the gunshot victim she saved.

Greg Andrews is furious at Sarah. He's been severely weakened by an infection caused by her removal of the bullet, and the blood transfusion gave him other complications. He gives her an ultimatum: work as his nurse and assistant while going to school at night, or he'll file charges against her for "playing doctor" as he calls it, and she'll lose any chance at becoming a physician.

Sarah is enraged at his brutal tactics and blackmail, but believes she has no choice but to agree to his arrangement. He has her enrolled at Columbia medical school and pays the tuition, plus a generous salary.

The way Greg announced every detail made her cringe. She should be running for the hills. Everything about him screamed ‘weird.’ He had taken matters into his own hands, believing he could predict what her answer would be. Greg had arranged for her to attend a top-notch university and . . . well . . . it was just weird.
“Why are you doing this?”

Greg looked at her with his piercing blue eyes. “Because I wanted to hate you, but I can’t.”

But Greg's plan doesn't run very smoothly. He's attracted to Sarah and can't fight the temptation she presents. Nor is his plot for revenge against his duplicitous ex-wife going as he'd hoped. When Sarah is injured, her realizes just how much he cares.

Despite how close they're getting, Sarah doesn't see a future in their relationship:

“Are you telling me this man you saved had you kidnapped and threatened to throw you in jail if you don’t cooperate with him?

Sarah nodded before she remembered Lily couldn’t see her. “Yes.”

“And the same guy enrolled you in one of the most prestigious schools in the country?” Lily’s voice now had a dreamy lilt to it.

“Yes.” Sarah hated to admit it, but Greg’s behavior had a tendency to give her whiplash. He could be pushy and overbearing one minute, and sweet and compassionate the next. Sometimes hot, sometimes cold. He was a man she had yet to figure out.

“Sounds like a fairytale to me,” Lily commented.

Sarah sighed. It hadn’t all been a girl’s dream come true. “Not by a long stretch, and besides, he and I are like night and day. He’s rich, I’m poor. He’s popular, and I’m a fly on the wall nobody cares about. There’s no way there’s going to be a fairytale.”

“You sound disappointed.” Lily fell quiet, leaving Sarah to question what her friend was thinking. “Sarah . . . are you falling in love with him?”

“Of course not.” Her denial sounded weak even to her own ears.

Under this tangle of complications, Sarah and Greg have to discover if a path to love can be found. Two very different people from very different worlds, both of them with their own problems with family and obligations, but both unable to fight their passion for one another.

I liked Sarah. She had spirit and courage, and wanted to balance her deep respect for traditions with her needs from the modern world. Greg wants to be cold and ruthless, but can't quite manage it where Sarah is concerned. Even his need for revenge starts to take a back seat where she is concerned. I also liked that Lily's feelings for Trimble didn't cause her to become a jealous enemy, and that Trimble himself wasn't an oaf that's easy to dislike.

It's an all around, entertaining romance I don't hesitate to recommend.

My Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

I LOVE LORENZ FONT!  When my book club picked this book I was super uber excited to start reading this one!  Her writing captivates me and leaves me yearning for more. She drawls you into the story and takes you on a roller coaster ride of epic proportions.

So here goes…

Every have one of those days? Well Greg Andrews was definitely having one the day his best friend shot him on a hunting trip in remote Alaska.  Sarah Jones was not prepared for a gunshot victim to be brought into her tribe’s small clinic.  She is only a pre-med student and the doctor on call is not answering his phone!  So she does what she is trained to do.  She saves him, even sharing her own blood in the process.  When the tribe leader, aka her father finds out he is furious and exiles her from the tribe. Cutting off all ties and funding in the process. Overdramatic much?

Forced to make it on her own Sarah returns to California to finish medical school.  Working part-time isn’t cutting it.  She knows that she is going to have to find a way fast to pay for the rest of her tuition.  That’s when fate steps in….ok fate kidnapped her and threw her on a plane but who’s judging?

Greg aka the handsome, sexy and rich kidnapper gives Sarah a offer she cannot refuse….move in with him, transfer to Columbia to finish her studies and assist Greg with his injuries. Ok so Greg may have faked some of his injuries so that Sarah would stay.  Truth is since he saw her in that small Alaskan clinic he could not get her out of his mind.

They are complete opposites, but the heart wants what the heart wants. And slowly Sarah finds herself falling for this mysterious man. But between their fathers, the age difference, Greg’s soon to be ex and the man that shot him life seems to be making it impossible to be together. Will love prevail?  (The ending is amazing!)

Favorite Scene:
When Greg was shot (the first time lol)

Favorite Quote:

Smiling, Greg lowered his mouth and brushed his lips against hers.  The indivisible line between them was now a mere imaginary divide they'd already conquered.

I of course thought it was a great book. I was able to get to know Sarah and Greg as Lorenz intended the readers to see them. Two people searching for their way in life going against the family traditions and social rules just to find happiness. I also saw their internal struggles to trust again and believe in their hearts.

You have Greg who was given everything in life except what really mattered, unconditional love and acceptance. Then there is Sarah who was given love but with rules of conduct that she was expected to maintain, even without reason. If you have read Hunted by Lorenz, you know that she is all about angst and keeping it real for the reader. She is also all about showing the readers that you can’t win unless you are afraid to lose. I think she does a great job with this book.

Sarah was never going to get the life she wanted unless she was willing to lose the life she had, a life of arranged marriages and rules to dictate her every emotion. Greg would never be able to find the love he craved unless he was willing to lose the ‘fake’ love he was receiving from those in his life. Do you give up the known for the unknown was the questions I felt this author wanted us to explore. We get so settled in how things are supposed to be, we sometimes forget to open the door to discovery of how things could be if we just allow our hearts to lead us sometimes.

Never one to put a limit on herself, Lorenz has taken a step into the unknown by writing Indivisible Line, a story of two lovers who were never meant to be together. Facing the prejudice of the world and others, she put into this book her views of how life treats those that look different. She also shows what true love and friendship can overcome if given the chance. I am proud of Lorenz and I am honored to be her friend. Not only does she show me new ways to view the world in her books, she lives what she writes and that makes this book real. I hope you all take the time to read Indivisible Line, not only for the wonderful story of Sarah and Greg, but to get an understanding of how we can’t stand in what we know just to escape the fear of the unknown. The pot of gold is sometimes at the end of the rainbow, but the rainbow only comes after the storm which is what Sarah and Greg find out in Indivisible Line.

Indivisible Line is a constant winding and twisting story that will keep you turning pages until the very end. The struggle between the indivisible lines of social class, traditions, past baggage, and an unclear future keep these characters fighting to keep their heads above water. The things they discover about themselves and other people in the world around them are disturbing at times. But through the hardships, anger, and fear these characters deal with throughout this book they discover strength in themselves that they didn’t know they had.
Does the guy get the girl? Does she even want him too? Or does she blame him for her world crashing down around her? Maybe he holds her responsible for all the wrong turns his life has taken since meeting her? Well if you want to know that, you will have to read this book for yourself because I’m not telling!
This book is a good read. It is intelligently written and deals with narrow-mindedness that we sometimes forget still exists in this modern world that we live in. You will come to realize while reading this wonderful book that hard core traditions and prejudice still exist. This book is by no means depressing, don’t get me wrong. There are also some very of humorous parts that balance the story well, but what stuck with me after reading it was the attitudes that still exist about social and economic class in our world today. The characters will evoke strong emotions from you and you will be turning pages dying to know what happens next.
This story also has strong supporting characters, which I really like. These characters help give us a better idea of the true character of our main players and add personality and humor to the overall story.
I commend Lorenz Font for the way she has written this story that is all at once, enthralling, infuriating, and all together entertaining. I highly suggest you add this book to your summer reading list.

I had the pleasure recently of reading Hunted by this talented author as I am a huge paranormal fan and thought I would give this book a go as well. Not my usual thing but sometimes it's good to challenge yourself. So glad I did as Ms Font has an amazing way with words that truly makes this reader want to keep turning the pages!
It's an unusual story about Sarah a medical student who as the daughter of her tribes leader is expected to marry Trimble a man she doesn't love and to further complicate matters he and her best friend are in love! It's a contempory setting and yet we are shown the hardships that exist for many even in these modern times. An attempted murder brings Sarah into the life of Greg whose life she does her utmost to save but there are consequences for her actions.
I found it a little unusual in this day and age that Greg would act the way he does but he has been brought up with wealth and numerous opportunities and to be honest he's a character that the reader can not help but have sympathy for. His confused feelings towards Sarah and his actions open up a new world for both of them and I really liked her character. Sarah is an amazing selfless woman who has been written superbly. Her compassion lights up the page and kudos to the author for not writing a whiny heroine.
Not what I would normally choose to read but as I do like a romance I found it quite easy to get lost in the story and who doesn't like a happy ending?
It's not the longest book but characters are fleshed out quite nicely and are written with heart.
I was lucky to receive a copy of this for free but it does not effect my opinion of it. I would heartily recommend this to readers who enjoy modern settings and lots of romance.
A well deserved 4 and a half from me.

Can two people from completely different worlds, each with their own host of problems and baggage, find enough common ground to build a relationship?

It seems impossible, but Sarah and Greg attempt to just that. In the midst of action and life threatening intrigue, emotional turmoil, and life-altering events, a very unlikely romance begins to simmer. The romance has an improbable start: a murder attempt followed by a kidnapping, events which left me questioning where this story could actually go. However, I was rewarded with a journey that made me forget the story’s questionable beginnings, and focus on the genuine connection between the characters. The author is able to create a very real romance between two very flawed characters, but something about it just works. They struggle throughout the story to overcome their individual circumstances and find common ground; I wanted them to work, to find peace, redemption, and happiness. All odds are stacked against them, and unforseen tragic events threaten to derail them at every turn, but still they fight, for themselves and for each other.

I enjoyed this thoughtful, emotional journey with its multi-layered plot and characters, surprising twists and turns, action and angst, and ultimately, its beautifully bittersweet conclusion.

“This was how she imagined love to be; sharing with the man you love. The truth startled her, but now she knew deep inside that it had been the driving force behind everything she’d felt from the moment she’d first met Greg. This was all she’d ever wanted; something close to a fairytale.”

There was a lot that I liked about this book. I felt the story line was pretty original except for the fact it was a naive girl falling in love with a millionaire..but I'm going to let that go since I enjoyed the story.

Sarah was a likeable character. She didn't annoy me like most 18-24 year old female lead characters do. I often times forgot she was young.

I wasn't a huge fan of Greg. He got under my skin with his controlling demeanor and his ability to complicate the situations.

Often times I feel like we complicate the situations and that's really what he did. He complicated everything and after a while you're like omfg come on already!

I liked how Sarah took her dad's criticism in stride and worked her way through that pain.

The writing was very decent. I felt it was easy to follow and it didn't feel like there were any gaping holes in the story which I like. It kept me reading which is important.

Overall I think this story is a strong 3.5 star. If I had liked Greg more it would have been a 4 star but as it stands he had a bit to many characteristics that made me want to slap him ... so 3.5 stars it is.

I would read another book by this author. If that brings it up some. I really enjoyed her easy going style.

Definitely a fun and interesting (and quick!) read.

Sarah Jones, a member of the Gwich'in Tribe of Alaska, is studying to become a doctor and one day finds herself in a medical/ethical predicament - save the life of a man who'd been shot or leave him to die.

Greg Andrews, fighting for his life, can't seem to leave Sarah Jones, his savior, on her own and has the need to care for her. He arranges for her 'kidnapping' in order to fund her school work, especially upon finding out that she has been expelled from her tribe for helping him.

Their attraction grows until the major decision needs to be reached - can they stay together despite their enormous differences?

I enjoyed reading Indivisible Line - I was interested in finding out information about the Gwich'In tribe and how Sarah and Greg try to overcome the hurdles in being together. I wished there were more character description as I could only vaguely picture the main characters and there didn't seem to be too much depth in other supporting characters that I would've liked to see.

Overall, a pleasant read and one I could easily recommend as a beach novel reading or a piece to read between heavier novels.

Sarah and Greg are about as different as two people can be with coming from entirely different backgrounds. Sarah being a member of the poor Gwinch tribe in Alaska, raised by a cold father who governed said tribe as well as his home with an iron fist as he had no wife to soften him.

Greg, the son of a wealthy shipping company owner and a powerful businessman in his own right, takes a hunting vacation with his right hand man, Cade, when tragedy strikes. Can he be saved? And what or who is the cause of the tragedy?

Both have to overcome difficult family issues to get what they want, but you root for them as you want them to both be, finally happy.

This story has it all, angst, family drama, action, mystery, multi-layered plot with many twists and turns and extremely well developed characters.

I could tell you more but I would hate to introduce spoilers and ruin the book for you. Just trust me when I say, it is a must read!

I was so enthralled with this story that I was sad when it finally ended.

Indivisible Lines is a story about a med student named Sarah from a tiny village in rural Alaska and a wealthy business man named Greg who she saves one fateful day. As a consequence for saving Greg's life, Sarah is banished from her village and must make her way in life on her own, until Greg steps in with a special arrangement.

Sarah and Greg's love story is tender and heartwarming. Though the attraction is almost instantaneous, their love slowly grows and blossoms. This story at times me enraged and just as quickly in tears. Mrs. Font did a marvelous job writing this story and wrote it quite artfully. The characters were realistic and easy to connect with.

Oh wow. I started reading this one night and ending up finishing it on the same night as it was an interesting and enjoyable read.

When I read the synopsis and saw it was about a girl called Sarah who lives in a village amongst a tribe I had to read it. I'm so happy my gut instinct about a book was correct again. She respects the rules the tribe and her father have made. However that all changes when Greg lands in her life. What happens then changes her life and Gregs life forever. I'm so happy the author didn't just throw these two into bed together straight away. Both are strong characters and fight their feelings. We are told the story from both points of view which I loved.

Really loved this story. If I could give this more than five stars I would. I really need to read more of this authors books. Fantastic.

If you like roller coasters, you will love this book. There are more twists and turns than Space Mountain that will leave you breathless and turning the page! This book has mystery, revenge, intrigue, and love. I was worried for most of the book how things would turn out. I always enjoy a book with a strong female lead and Lorenz delivers that. We get to know Sarah very well, but Greg is somewhat of a question mark. He keeps things private, and that gets him into trouble. Part of me is exhausted after reading this book because it is so emotional, but mostly I am glad I had the pleasure of reading this book! 4 out of 5! {babusbookshelf.blogspot.com}

Another book i just loved from Lorenz. Sarah was just a small town girl ,raised knowing her duty to her tribe and set on marrying the man her father had chosen for her, but fate had other ideas. Greg has it all, sucessful, handsome, wealthy, he enjoyed hunting until a trip to alaska changed his life. I loved how lorenz intertwined her story so you really understoodthe differences between these two very different people and feeling the energy of the book while they both struggled to overcome those differences. I love when a book has a happy ending and this does have one of those .

Loved it.

Going into it I expected something about a guy who gets hurt, a girl who ends up taking care of him, and then they fall in love, and live happily ever after. And then it's put into a setting of Native Americans and Alaska.

But it was so much more.

There's some amazing character development going on, a lot of hurdles to cross and foes to defeat before getting to the end. There's so much happening all the time, and I'm amazed that the author manages to cram so many events into a single book without it feeling very rushed at all. It has a bit of time-skipping and some parts are less important than others, but overall it's smooth sailing from start to finish.

Very enjoyable read I must say.

I am inquisitive by nature. So when I come across a story where the story line or characters are based on actual events, history, or cultures, and the story itself is completely engaging with the incorporation of the realism, it is a win/win situation for me. Lorenz Font's introduction of the Gwich’in people was utterly fascinating to the point that when I finished the story, I started googling.

Sarah Jonea is a member of the Gwich’in tribe. She is also the only child of their leader. Raised with a rich history of tradition, culture, and loyalty, Sarah has never and is unwilling to defy her father, even at the cost of her own happiness, an arranged marriage to a man she does not love. And while that seems backwards and unfeeling, the tribe is also very caring and giving. Sarah is attending UCLA to become a doctor, something she is very passionate about and has wanted her life. The tribe is paying for her education.

It is while working in her tribe's clinic that Sarah's life is turned completely upside down with everything she has ever known and loved taken from her.

A man with a gunshot wound is brought o the clinic. And while only a medical student and a qualified doctor not present, Sarah did the only thing she could, she saved his life. Saving a life or at least trying to save a life is the highest form selflessness. But she is banished from her tribe by her father for acting without permission from the tribal leaders. I found this so cruel and unimaginable that her own father would shun her. This incident alone really gives you an amazing feel for who Sarah is. And while cruel to think her own flesh and blood would act without mercy, I developed a very clear understanding for the steadfast ways and beliefs of her culture.

This is the point where the story really takes off.

The man she saves, though barely is Greg Andrews. A man looking to escape his life and cheater of a wife, if only for a while on a hunting trip with his best friend. It is on this trip that we find out his best friend is not what he seems and direct the cause of his near death experience.

Greg is appalled at Sarah's banishment and wants to help, convincing her to be his live in-nurse bringing their fate and destiny together, though in a very unconventional and surprising way.

I loved this story. The twists and turns were a bit of a roller coaster. The plot of Greg's best friend and wife added to the overall plot throwing the budding romance in to turmoil and danger.

I found Sarah and Greg very engaging and believable. The story had an amazing flow and was peppered with a nice background and very broad characterizations that drove the plot. I found the ending to be a huge statement in healing, coming together, understanding, acceptance, and how a true journey of one spirit can bring you true love and happiness.

A definite must read!

As every woman I like love stories, especially those in which heaven and earth are against a happy ending. Usually, I prefer stories where the relationship is not the main attraction, but those that are designed to complement, aggravate, spice the main action. But sometimes I risk and gain reading a pure romance. This is the case of Lorenz Font’s Indivisible Line.

What prompted me to read it is the book's premise. A girl who, although is caught and subjected to a tribal regime in which chieftain’s word is law in every aspect of social and personal life, has the courage to do whatever must be done assuming any risk deserves attention and promises tense and passional moments. It turns out that, with some few exceptions - some explanations too facile in my opinion, Sarah will behave "properly" and that she is a heroine that you get to cherish.

What is not known whether it will become a relationship has an unusual debut, full of adrenaline or unconsciousness as the case may be. Came from two total different worlds, grown up in different values, Sarah and Greg are so ... different that a relationship between them seems unlikely. (And that only can delight the readers). And that's not all that will be against them. Sarah will take over the brunt, but Greg will have his own portion of mind suffering.

The pace is good. When it seems that the things are settle down something will appear and will rock the boat, sometimes threatening to sink it. Hidden agendas, their own or others, well intentioned or not, prejudices, secrets from the past, jealousy, accidents and petty interests will be obstacles that will arise when is least expected. If they would manage to get together at the shore and to share a happy future it will remain to be seen.

The reader will enjoy the full picture benefiting by both points of view, but maybe the same reader will become a bit nettled when stubbornness, pride or the desire not to be vulnerable become themselves new hurdles. When they will be willing to take the risk and reveal what they feel it may be quite late.

Is needless to add that you will love Sarah and Greg and therefore I mention that the secondary characters are not to be left aside. The possibility of future volumes with some of them sounds very good.

What can I say more? Being a good and leisure reading, with Indivisible Line there are good chances that your open eyes dreams will become a little more colourful.

Sarah, upon deciding to save an outsider, hence utilizing resources and medication for her tribe, she puts herself in a path of exile from her tribe and everything that she's only known. Greg, the man she saves, is an outsider in Beaver looking for the perfect hunt when he is shot by the friend he counted on. Shot and in need of medical help, he is thrust into Sarah's care. Still in college, she goes against all the rules and does what she believes is right.

I love love this modern day pocahontas! The way Font touches upon heavy subjects without taking away the integrity of the novel and the ease with which each character becomes uniquely distinguishable. Her style and her the flow in her writing simply makes the reader continue reading and unable to put her books down.

Once again awed and amazed by this author, I am simply thrilled! Will continue to look forward to future adventures with Lorenz Font!!! The wait for a new book is so worth it!
