Lenovo Launches Miix 2 Hybrid Laptop / Tablet

While the big story of CES was Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Carbon they also took the time to announce their Miix 2 Hybrid Laptop / Tablet. The Miix 2 is the ideal solution for someone who frequently uses both a laptop and a tablet.

The Miix 2 is made up of two part, you have the actual tablet area and then the the keyboard / dock. Lenovo has made it extremely easy to detach the tablet from the dock by making use of magnets. You can literally just pick the tablet right up off the dock, it is that easy! The tablet can also be placed in the dock normally or backwards for more of a media mode.
