PLAGIARISM ALERT!!!!!

So I just found out today that the EXCERPT of this series posted on Alexandra Anthony's wordpress plagiarized the hell out of ficlit78's True Blood fanfiction "Pretty Kitty". For the author to put a piece that is clearly a work of plagiarism like this as an excerpt on her own website, I am truly speechless and I shudder to think about the rest of the content inside these books.

See for yourself:

ficlit's Pretty Kitty:
http://ficlit78.wordpress.com/pretty-...

The night wore on and Eric and I grew more and more frustrated. An hour became four. Four hours became an eight-hour shift. We writhed in his bed, wringing each other clean of every conceivable pleasure.
And yet, we were never satisfied.

After our first little rest, we never stopped going at it like rabbits. Eric proved his sinful boast of legendary stamina, coming inside me continuously, and yet needing no recovery time, pumping straight through his orgasm and immediately working himself towards another.

And I was no better. My body begged for rest, my core was aching and sore from his huge and constant presence, and yet I pleaded like a glamoured slut for more.

I begged prettily for him to drink more from me. I hoped that would slake some of my desire for him, as sex seemed to only make it worse. I offered my throat to him. My wrists. My breasts. My thighs. At every offering, he turned his head and refused point blank.

“I must save you,” he spoke of me like the last of a coveted wine vintage. “I plan to drink from you every night. I can’t take more than you can replenish in that time.” With that, he pointedly retracted his fangs from me, removing my beloved heart shape, and resumed fucking my brains out, trying valiantly to sate us the old-fashioned way.

So when I cut my own neck with my nail and brought his lips to the tiny nick, he snarled in displeasure and flipped me so that I was on my hands and knees before him.

“Defiant girl, ” he growled angrily, aligning our hips and driving deep into me from behind.

I screamed and drove backwards into him as he thrust manically against my ass.

“You will not tempt me,” he rasped darkly. His grip on my hips was steely and possessive. I sobbed at the dizzying pleasure I felt at having no control. I widened my knees on the mattress, wanting him deeper. Always, impossibly deeper.

“You will stay in this position until you’ve come three times for me,” he hissed my punishment.

“I can’t,” I whimpered. “I’m dying, baby.” At least it felt like it. I had no strength left. Even holding my own weight up against his battering hips was proving a wonderful chore.

“You will,” he commanded. “Prove to me how much you want me and do as I say.”

I hated him. I hated how much I needed him and how bad his words turned me on. And I hated that I did as he bade, needing a full hour to orgasm three times while he howled as my body sucked and squeezed him without mercy. I was given no rest when he withdrew from me. He flipped me again and stood us up, holding my thighs across either of his forearms, splaying my hips wide open just above his pulsing erection. My hands gripped his shoulders, holding me up against him. I moaned in delicious expectation.

“More,” he demanded, lowering me gently. Tears pricked my eyes, so I buried them in the crook of his neck as once again my poor body was invaded by a Viking. My exhausted muscles welcomed him weakly. I was so wet for him it was shameful, and he met no resistance as he filled me up until we were fused once again.

I moaned his name in reverence. How did he do this to me?

He chose a gentle pace this time, slowly lifting and lowering me, teasing himself with me. He pulled out completely, only to plunge straight down until I could feel his balls nestled tightly against my butt. I had no leverage and no strength, but I managed to flex and clench my inner muscles around him, participating in our lovemaking as best I could. I rubbed my throbbing nipples against his chest and sucked gently on his earlobe. “Beautiful man,” I whispered distractedly.

“You are so exquisitely tight, Sookie,” he whispered back, lifting and lowering, lifting and lowering. “No woman ever fit me as divinely as you do.”

I smirked with smug pride against his cheek and pulled back to kiss his fangless mouth. “Damn right,” I murmured. I swirled my hips, bending him in a tight circle, shamelessly coaxing his sharp teeth to come out and play with me.

He felt my intention. “No,” he rebuked playfully. “You won’t break me, woman.”

“Betcha I could,” I countered poutingly, swirling him again and again deep inside me. “Betcha a whole dollar I could bring you to your knees.”

He laughed and gripped my ass, stopping my circles and starting a more earnest fuck. “Bet you that same dollar I could make you join me,” he rasped deeply.

I gave up and clutched his arms, letting him take me harder than before. He was so good at this. So relentless. And we’d barely even ventured into other activities. I was dying to know what he liked, what he’d let me do to him, now that we were lovers. “Will you let me suck you? Do you…enjoy that?” I squeaked. Bill hadn’t been particularly crazy about it. I wasn’t even sure I was any good at it.

I felt him jolt inside me and he growled deep in his chest. “Would you send me to my true death, then? The sight of you on your knees with my cock in your mouth would surely kill me.”

I shivered and arched helplessly into his thrusts, loving his coarse honesty. “I want to,” I murmured. “I’d love to. Tomorrow night, maybe?”

His pace quickened further with excitement. “Yes, lover. Anything you want. Dawn is coming now. Shall we come with it?”

I fell bonelessly with him into the abyss, vaguely hearing him roar as he emptied himself deep in my womb for the countless time that night. I held none of my own weight. Thank God for his preternatural strength, because I had absolutely zero.

I felt the bed rush up to meet us. Had he set us there, or simply fallen over? I didn’t know. I burrowed into him, unbelievably wanting more, yet physically unable to even lift my head.

Broken, shivering and drained, we fell asleep.

E~S~E~S~E~S~E~S~E~S~E~S~E~S

When I awoke hours later, it was well into late morning and he was dead for the day. No light penetrated the room, but my watch informed me of the fact.

He looked exactly the same as when I’d entered the room an eon ago. Perfect. Untouched. Lying on his back, oblivious to all, like we hadn’t destroyed each other for hours in this very bed.

I looked down at my own state of affairs. There were soft bruises on my hips and breasts where he’d held me. I adored them and wished perversely that there were more scattered over my skin. I wondered if that’s why he’d chosen not to bond with me immediately. He wanted me to bear his marks, if only for a little while. I was still a seething coil of desire, the lizard part of my brain absolutely furious that he was dormant and had left me feeling like he’d merely teased me with petting and pretty words all night instead of fucking me until I blacked out.

I swore at my lack of satisfaction and kicked my way out of his stupid, silky bed. I found the adjoining bathroom and flicked on the light, instantly caught by my reflection in the entirely-mirrored room. I looked like a wild animal. I smiled a feral smile. The sexiest wild animal alive. I turned this way and that, memorizing every purple grape finger mark, the red outline of his hand high on my ass, the three dozen hickeys starting under my ears and ending on my belly, and of course, his beautiful, prideful mark.

I moved closer and bent over the sink, looking at the bite more closely. For all his ferocity, his bite was downright surgical in care. The pricks were tiny and clean, no tearing at all. He’d managed to hold the both of us perfectly still as he’d fed. Impressive. Bill had often broken the skin around the punctures in his excitement. I guess there was something to be said for being eight hundred years Bill’s senior.

I blinked at myself and shook my head in anger. I knew comparisons were inevitable, but they irritated me nonetheless. In pure clinical terms, Eric was a better lover for me. He wasn’t restrained. He liked talking to me during the deed. He felt no guilt about what he was, nor any special deference to me for what I was. And I liked his crudeness. He liked my tits. He adored my pussy. My blood drove him crazy. I knew all of this because he told me so, and while I don’t usually like nasty language, his delivery made me hot nonetheless. He didn’t like a quitter, and made me make love to him, pulling out every last string of joy when I was sure there were none left to be had. Even the littlest things, like the way Eric’s name rolled off my tongue, felt better. I’d called it often last night, knowing he wanted to hear it, knowing I wanted to say it.

I quickly used the bathroom for reasons other than preening and flushed the toilet. I considered taking a shower, but decided against it. I was the only person in the house, and if I wanted to smell like sex, then I damn well would. Who was here to be scandalized by it? Not a damn soul.

I shot myself one last look in the mirror on the way out before flipping off the light and sliding back into bed. I kissed his sleeping lips and ruffled his hair before latching onto him, arms and legs clinging.

I sighed with happiness. He’d driven me so mad with pleasure that I’d actually shot him with my hand thingies. Thank God I hadn’t hurt him. I asked him afterward if I’d done so and he’d shaken his head casually. “I am well,” he answered simply. I didn’t question it after that, but I was pleased that it didn’t happen again. I had no interest in blowing him out of bed, not when he was proving so addictive within it.

On the nightstand, Eric’s phone beeped once, indicating he had a message. Curious, I picked it up and read the ID.

PAM, it read. From six hours ago.

I knew it was wrong, but I hit the READ button and felt little remorse doing it.

Where the fuck, Eric? You better have your ass in here tomorrow night. You KNOW the fangers get antsy when you’re not in plain sight.

P

I set his phone back down on the small table.

So. Eric hadn’t told Pam he was staying home to meet me. He’d played hooky. For me.

I smiled and snorted softly. My vampire was so darned naughty.

But I found myself responding to the other part of the message in a way that I didn’t care for at all. The fangers at his bar, lining up to gawk at his beauty and think raunchy thoughts about the things they wanted him to do to them. Bleed them. Fuck them. Turn them. Kill them. All kinds of bizarre shit that I hated hearing when I entered that place. He didn’t need to glamour them, they glamoured themselves just thinking about him.

I snorted again in disgust. And jealousy. Not a ladylike thing to do, I know, but I couldn’t help it. I had Eric’s word that he would be loyal to me and I trusted him completely for some reason. The way he looked at me, I guess. I knew beyond a doubt that I was the only one he wanted.

Still.

These whores of all description threw themselves at his feet, and for the sake of vampire bar propriety, he let them. He had to. People paid for the privilege of being despised and ignored by him while they drank his eight buck Coors Light.

I lifted my head from his still-warmed chest and looked at him.

So, so unfairly beautiful.

He was even prettier than before. Hair even messier. Face even softer. His stubble was more pronounced. His lips were fuller from my kisses. He looked like he’d died happy, which technically, he had.

And yet, there was nothing of me on him. I know to other vamps, he smelled of me, but to my human senses, he was still a flawless, unmarked statue. I had tried, tried so hard, to mark him in the same way he’d marked me. I’d bitten him. I’d sucked his skin, breaking the capillaries. I’d scratched him. Hell, I’d clawed desperately at him. Every single time, my brand disappeared, his skin zipping back up like it never happened. It was like trying to permanently mark on an Etch A Sketch. It was a fruitless attempt.

He’d felt my disappointment as one of my angrier bruises healed magically on his chest. He had looked down at himself thoughtfully before pulling me flush against him. “I would wear yours if I could, lover.”

Somehow, that had made me feel better.

Now, it was unacceptable.

I would mark him. He would wake up and see just how thoroughly he belonged to me.

The Vampire Destiny excerpt on Alexandra Anthony's wordpress:
http://alexandraanthony.wordpress.com...

The Vampire Destiny excerpt:
His plan to keep my mind occupied had worked. As he took me time and time again, I equally adored and hated how much I needed him. We destroyed the sheets, ripping them to shreds with scratching fingernails and clenching fists. Hours had passed and my poor body was exhausted, yet still wordlessly begged him for more. We’d become insatiable, out of control. His overwhelming lust amplified my own, leaving me wanting more when I thought it was impossible.

His hands reached for me again, gathering me in his arms and standing us up. He held my thighs across both of his forearms. My hips were splayed wide open above his pulsing cock, causing an unbearable need to rush over my body like it was the first time we’d made love. My hands clasped his shoulders and I moaned in delicious expectation as I waited for him to plunge himself inside me again.

Stefan didn’t make me wait. He never did.

“More,” he demanded, lowering me gently over him. Tears of exhaustion pricked at my eyes, leaving me to rest my heavy head in the crook of his neck. Once again my poor body instinctively responded, eager for more of him. My weary muscles welcomed him weakly. It was shocking how wet I was for him, and he met no resistance as he filled me up until we were joined once again.

How did he do this to me? How could I possibly want him more than I did before?

“Stefan…” I moaned out his name in reverence against his throat. My lips brushed against the softness of his skin, reveling in the sensation.

Sensing my fatigue, he chose a gentle pace this time, slowly lifting and lowering me, teasing him with me. He pulled out completely, only to thrust back in until I cried out. I had no control or strength, yet I managed to contract and clench my inner muscles around him. Rubbing my aching nipples against his chest, I nibbled gently on his earlobe. “My beautiful man,” I whispered distractedly.

“You are exquisitely perfect, Josephine,” he whispered raggedly. “There will never be anyone for me except you. You know this.”

His soft words filled me with my own smug pride. Nibbling my teeth against his cheek, I headed down his face to kiss his fangless mouth.

“I still never get tired of hearing it,” I murmured. Swirling my hips, I bent him in a tight circle, shamelessly coaxing his sharp fangs to come out and play with me.

He felt my intention, my desire for his bite crystal clear. “No,” he rebuked playfully. “You won’t break me, vackra. Your blood destroys my self-control.”

“You won’t hurt me,” I countered teasingly, swirling him again and again deep inside me. “Let’s see if I can bring you to your knees.”

He laughed at my bravado and gripped my ass, stopping my circles and slowing the pace. “Ah, someone is feeling confident. Prove it,” he rasped deeply as he stroked harder inside of me, crushing my bold assumptions.

Moaning, I gave up and clutched his arms, letting him take me harder than before. He was never one to back away from a challenge and he was determined to prove me wrong.

Feeling my surrender, his pace quickened further with excitement. “Morgonen är här. Kom med mig.”

His words caused me to fall helplessly with him into the abyss, vaguely hearing him shout as he emptied himself deep inside me for the countless time that night. Shuddering against him yet again, I helplessly melted against him.

My eyes heavy, I felt the bed rush up to meet us. Had he placed us there or had we finally collapsed, simply falling over from sheer exhaustion? Honestly, I had no way of knowing. I simply crumpled along with him, unbelievably wanting more, yet physically unable to even lift my head.

Shattered and drained, we fell asleep, tangled together in the covers and each other’s arms.

Twisting to my side to face him, I pulled myself out of the memory and back into the present. He looked almost exactly the same as when we’d entered the bedroom last night. He was more rumpled, but nonetheless gorgeous. Unscathed. Lying on his back, he was lost in sleep, oblivious to the fact that we’d destroyed each other for hours in this very bed.

Moving my arms to smooth his hair, the tattered sheet fell away and my eyes were drawn to my own naked skin. There were faint bruises on my hips and breasts where he’d held me, already fading as I brazenly admired them. I adored them and wished irrationally that there were more sprinkled over my skin. This is why he’d chosen not to share his blood with me. He had wanted me to wear his marks, if only for a little while. Taking his blood would cause my mostly immortal body to heal faster and he wanted me to see them, to remember how each one came to be.

Gazing back at his sleeping form, even my silent observations of him made desire swirl angrily in the pit of my stomach. He had warned me that we would be like this: insatiable and all-consumed with one another.

That had been the understatement of the century.

Stretching, I padded into the adjoining bathroom and flicked on the light, instantly catching my reflection in the mirrored room. The woman staring back at me didn’t even look like me. I looked wild, feral. Turning from side to side, I memorized every pale purple fingertip, the pink outline of his hand across my ass, the fading bite marks that scattered a path from my neck to my stomach.

The only thing missing were the marks from his fangs. They’d already healed. The tiny bruises and marks were already vanishing and would be gone by afternoon. Watching them disappear would be almost as frustrating as my numerous attempts to brand him.

Once again, my mind flashed back to hours earlier as I relentlessly attempted to mark him. The scratches and bites I inflicted on him healed within seconds, leaving behind his flawless, perfect skin.

He’d sensed my frustration. He’d kissed me tenderly, following the line of my cheekbones with his fingertips and lips. “I would gladly wear your marks if you could inflict them on me.”

And once again he caught me off guard under his sweet words.

I find what you're doing disgusting, dishonest and absolutely sad. Why do what you did? Take an honest work from another person? You're already a known author, so tell me why would you STEAL someone's story? Please tell me, because quite honestly, I'm baffled.

http://ficlit78.wordpress.com/2014/07...

Looks like you're busted, sweetheart. I don't know how you thought you'd get away with it, considering that our fandoms have a very wide range in the literature world, considering that we're tight and we're loyal to our people - writers, readers, betas, bannermakers, whoever's involved - above everyone else.

So, congratulations, because of your laziness - I'm assuming it's laziness, because I don't want to label a stranger with the very strong word going through my mind - you now have a very pissed-off fandom - The Vampire Diaries - and about 3/4th of another one - Twilight - on your back. Not to mention the other independent writers that find your actions as disgusting as the rest of us.

Have a nice day :)

If you paid for this book before it was taken down, then you should know that you paid for something that was written originally for free. A great fanfiction author by the name of ficlit78 wrote a true blood fanfiction of which this book plagiarized. This is such a dishonest move made by an independent author especially since so many try so hard to get their own work recognized. And it makes the customers and the readers dirty in turn, since people genuinely believed in her work and gave her their hard-earned money to steal from other hard-working people.

This author is going to upload her unplagarized version after some review...which is a despicable thing to say since it was supposed to be her work. If you paid for Alexandra Anthony's work, then you should get that version and demand it for free. If not or even if you did, go read ficlit78's and give her some appreciation for her doing this on her own free time and for free.

Book not for sale anymore and "author" is retired it says on her GR author page. her website is also down. https://ficlit78.wordpress.com/2014/0...

I am a 67% and I think I am pretty done with it.

There is no actual story just sex and some really, REALLY bad Swedish that is driving me nuts. The writing in itself is pretty nice and if there were more of a story here I be on board with that. But and there is a big no here.

When an author decides to go the route with a foreign language, they need to remember at one point in time someone reads it that can understand that language. They need to get ahold of a native or someone that actually speaks it. There is not much that gets me more cranky than authors that use google translate when they write books... She may have had some help but there are some massive slip ups, I am really glad I found the translations from the author in the back because she had me really puzzled a couple time.. The translation guide in the back of the book gave me a good giggle fit when I read it so that was entertaining.

So here goes:
She uses Knulla dig as a swear word, it is a direct translation of Fk it. It is not a swearword here, we use Fk you or Fk it in English. Swearwords in Swedish is almost same as Norwegian and my personal fav that slips out to many times a day is Fy Faen in Swedish Fan and I think in Danish it is Satan, you can use Satan in Norwegian too. They all means some form of "may the devil take you!"
Knulla dig can not be used as a stand alone, you need to put it in a sentence like "I am going to" first then Knulla dig. That be: I am going to Fk you. With only Knulla! it be like Sex! Sex!

 photo 3116668_zpsab02033c.gif

So to my personal favorite, when I read this sentence I was like WTF??? That was good with the translation in the back here.
Jag har saknat att vara med dig, din Jävla. she translates it to: I miss being with you, fking you. But that is so not what it means. What is translates to is: I have missed being with you, you fuker/bastard. What a nice welcome home sentence, I get a divorce stat.
 photo parkssnubgifs-what_zps6979ad9f.gif

The other funny one is :Du är knulla magnifik, Josephine. Translated by author: You are fking magnificent, Josephine. This don't mean a thing, it is an incomplete sentence. But the meaning we get from it are. Josepine you are fking awesome in bed.

 photo 849332_zps49c6785b.gif
OK. This Norwegian is done for now.

This review is from: Fated (The Vampire Destiny Series Book #1) (Kindle Edition)
Call the Fire Dept. this story with Stefan and Josie was smoking HOT AND SENSUAL!! FATED IS VERY VERY EROTIC!! Stefan has found his Fated Mate Josie after waiting for her for 200 yrs. Josie is an empath and can read the minds of humans and Stefan is a Hot, Tall and Sexy as hell 975 yr. old very rich vampire. Need I say more. The story is filled romance. Stefan is every girls dream. He takes Josie out for dinner and dancing, he baths her and he makes love to her a hundred different ways. He is so loving an caring and he seduces Josie into accepting his way of life and becoming like him, instead of forcing her. This book is erotica at its best. The only problems I had with the story was it needed more substance and story line, we get a peek at the end of the book, but I would have liked more story development now instead of having to wait to read the next book. Their are a few editorial problems, that I hope are fixed by book 2 "Illusion". Oh I forgot to mention that the secondary characters are just wonderful in "Fated" Anna, Georgie, and especially Lukas, who stole every scene he was in. Lukas was gal's perfect Gay friend. I highly recommend this book and would like to say it was very good to read a paranormal romance were the female lead of the book was romanced and loved and treated with the highest regard. Today most paranormal authors abuse and rape the female lead in their books. NOT THIS ONE!!! VERY WELL DONE ALEXANDRA ANTHONY!! Someone please call the Fire dept. for me I am off to read book 2 Illusions!!

This book was great

I wish that there was little more plot to this book in the beginning but towards the end it started to really pick up.

The cliffhanger was one of the best I have ever seen. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Once in a while I come across a book that I absolutely cannot finish... It doesn't happen very often, and it's usually a book I downloaded for free. Sadly, though this book is only $1, I paid for it and absolutely positively cannot stomach reading one more page of this complete nonsense.

I really don't like giving bad reviews because I know someone put their time and thought and creativity into this book, but seriously?! It's not worth $1, an I would even recommend it to anyone finding it for free. Don't waste your time or brain cells.

The book does start out with potential & it's even reminiscent of a Sookie/Eric tryst: the psychic telepathic empath (whatever) main female character and hot Swedish vampire... And that's about as far as it gets for character development.

Basically, we know near to nothing about these characters, there's major holes in the plot, insanely unrealistic character interaction, side characters that are annoying and irrelevant... Just when you think you might sort of kind of in a way understand a character and their motives, the author seems to make them into a complete different character with different language and actions. There's no consistency and you never feel like you actually "get to know" the character which, in my opinion, makes for a good story.

Anyway, the pair have a not so chance meeting, as Stefan has been waiting for this moment for 200 years because of a vision... That didn't make sense once it was explained, and surprise surprise, Josie can't hear Stefan's thoughts or predict his future. So of course she instantly wants to sleep with him... Which makes a steamy first few pages (after you get past the pointless prologue that is pretty much the first chapter except from Stefan's point of view. There's no real back story).

Of course, even the sex scenes didn't make any sense. Josie is supposedly shy and withdrawn, except from her friends that don't really seem like friends. She doesn't date because of her "ability," and you get the impression she's pretty much never been touched, let alone kissed or thoroughly shagged. Yet... She gets Stefan in the sack and she's all controlling (controlling a vampire, might I add) and the talk is borderline raunchy bedroom language. I'm so ok with that, but it just seems so very out of context for this book and these two characters. Plus, it's not really that descriptive and you get it: thy have crazy balls to the wall monkey sex ending with a mind blowing orgasm... Which is pretty much as descriptive as it gets. It's like reading bad porn.

Then, in a shocking turn of events (not really, more like: he just effed my brains out, "oh I'm in love!") Josie and Stefan are madly in love... After 2 days. The best part of the 41% I actually did read was when Josie described why she loved Stefan and I was sent into a fit of hysterical laugher.

There are grammar mistakes, but they were easy to overlook because I was too consumed with waiting for this book to actually get good or even go into detail something... Anything.

Also, Stefan randomly speaks Swedish... Which is cool if you don't care to know what he is saying or you think going to google translate every page is fun. I'm not a fan of either. He probably never even explains to Josie what he is actually saying, but I didn't finish the book so I can't back that up.

I'm not sure what this book is classified as elsewhere, but I found it under paranormal romance. This isn't so much romance as it is erotica. Bad & poorly written erotica, but the romance factor is definitely nonexistent. The only "paranormal" in this book is Josie's "ability" that never makes itself known, so it isn't even part of the story & does nothing for the story. She could have been completely normal and I'm pretty sure the story would have been exactly the same. Stefan happens to be a vampire, but there isn't really anything that makes him come across as a vampire, other than the fact that Josie calls him a vampire several dozen times, he gets all high and mighty and decides to get in one of her "friend's" face, bites during sex... Yeah I guess all of that would make him come across as a big strong sexy vampire. No.

To top everything off, there are random moments where each of them refer to harlequin romance or say "well, if we were in a romance novel" such and such would happen next. Really. I mean, REALLY?!

There's more, but I have a headache just thinking about this book. If you want a good romance novel, this isn't it. If you want a good quick and steamy read, this isn't it. If you want BAD erotica with sex scenes that end up boring and predictable that wishes it was a bad paranormal romance novel (not even close to good) this is it.

I started reading this story because I absolutely love reading stories with vamps in them. The summary made me curious and when I started I couldn't stop. The past week was rough and this was my escape. I absolutely have fallen in love with both Stefan as Josephine. I love the way he always says her full name. It has something to it. Can't explain it any better. Just like it. I also see Alexamder Skarsgard as Stefan and Alexandra has told me that he is the one she is seeing when she is writing him. He is so so yummie. From the get go its intense and you can feel the attraction between them. I'm also glad that she isn't a pushover. It's refreshing to read she has a mind of her own and isn't afraid to tell him off. You can tell she has never been in a relationship and I can understand why. Coming to the end of the book alot of things click more into place as to why she reacts to him the way she does and why some of the things has happened. The ending of the book is such a cliffy that I'm glad I still have 2 book I can read before I have to wait for the 4th book to come out. I've already started the 2nd book.

Well what to say more. So much more. The sex is so hot and pure. It makes you want to be her. I'm totally hooked and wanna read it all the time. Even taken it with me go work and reading in my lunch break.

Thank you so much for writing this and I will keep pimping it to my girls. Like I've told you already. We love great smut!!

Story: FAIRLY GOOD
Intimacy Level: VERY VERY SPICY
Enjoyment: FAIRLY GOOD
Length: 3829 kindle / 224 pages

This story was interesting for me as the author is setting the foundation for the rest of the series. This first book, Fated, mainly focuses on Josephine and Stefan's chemistry and coming together. I was really in a trance when both characters met. As you're reading the story, the author delivers on the erotica and spiciness of the book, however, my attention with the storyline was off and on. Though I felt this way about the storyline, once you reach the end, it turns out to be more interesting and you have a sense something is brewing. As a reader, and knowing what I like and my personal preference,as we all have different opinions, the paranormal aspect was there but could have been more for me.

This could become a very interesting series, but with a bit more paranormal, you will definitely have the best of both worlds with erotica and paranormal. Also there are a bit of errors, but it wasn't anything that I could not over look. I would say give this a try maybe you would feel differently.

I hate when an author waste our time with a prologue that could have been chapter 1. Forgive if I'm wrong but prologues are suppose to take place in the past so we can have a better understanding of what happening in the present. Hers was more like an recap.

She had some good ideas/ plot she just didn't fellow through. A 975 year old vampire who has been having visions of a woman and looking for her for 200 years. The woman, who has special gifts, has been dreaming of a man for many years. They finally met. A great story is there the author missed the mark. Maybe it was due the page/word count but this book could have been so much better then it is. There was no back story. I did give a star because I did get teary eyed at one point but not enough here for 3 stars.

If you like a lot of sex you should read it. They always said I want or I'm going to fuck you. Never was there a I want to make love to you. And by the way, especially with him being a vampire, I don't know how she could walk. JS.

This book has a lot of smut in it by far. I no people compared it to 50 shades, but its not the only thing close to it was how much sex was in it.
There is this girl Josephine who can read people's minds and emotions. She has no family and is a loner and likes to be alone. She has 2 girlfriends who she goes out to clubs with and they always bring home a different guy. They always try to get Josie a one night stand but she is not interested.
At a club she meets Stefan. A handsome man she has been dreaming about. He tells her he has been searching for her for lifetimes and they are meant for each other. She gives Stephan a chance and they fall in love. One problem he is a vampire!
After hooking up he noticed that when he bites her she heals to fast and asks a friend why does this happens. Then all the vampires come demanding answers... What will happen!!

This book ends with a huge cliffhanger!!!!

This book was a fun, light read. It is a love story between a human and a vampire. Although it stated that it had been professionally edited, the book still contains MANY errors! (Which makes me wonder WHO the editor was.) The story line was very similar to Twilight, just substitute adults for the protagonists and add explicit sex scenes. I did find Josephine's habit of calling Stefan "Romeo" quite annoying. It was however a quick, fun read for people who enjoy this genre. This book, like so many others books these days, followed the trend of ending on a cliffhanger, which does make me want to read the other books in this series, but at only about 150 pages per book, I wish the author wouls release it as ONE 600 page book.

I loved this book.

It's a 150 page book. It's not a 300 page novel.

That being said and after reading the reviews on here where people blather on no plot...here's the plot: these two were "Fated" to be together. It's Destiny. Of course their attraction is immediate and strong. Not to mention the blaring disclaimer on the blurb that this is an EROTIC story with adult situations.

Anyway, the plot is slow to unfurl, but by the end of the book we're left to see exactly where this story is going. And each one keeps getting better.

Smokin Hot sex scenes! I am a bit of a prude and like to have a little left to the imagination. There is nothing left to the imagination here! I liked the story though and couldn't wait till the next one. The love story is what kept me interested and I will finish the series. When I read, I have to connect emotionally with the characters. It was a little difficult getting past the sex to the core of the story, but the second and third books gave me what I needed.

Fated, what a beautiful, romantic word. Alexandra Anthony has been accused in many reviews of Fated (The Vampire Destiny Series Book #1) of having too much sex in this book and having no plot. I strongly disagree! This book shows what it is like to be loved completely and adored by Stefan. Can you imagine what it would be like to have a 975 year old vampire searching for his beloved for 200 years then to finally find Josephine, don’t you think the pull to the bedroom would be mighty strong? Besides the point of paranormal romance is that the sex is other worldly and you can’t resist it once you get a taste of it! This is the first paranormal romance series I have read and even I get that!

Ms. Anthony’s style of writing is superb and laced with emotion which is what I am looking for in my next erotic read, always. I want the hero to be HOT and the heroine to in love with him and for them to have amazing sex...I just did not know that vampire sex was going to be sooo amazing!!! Oh, and the hero in this one is filthy rich and generous as well. That is always a plus!

The true sign of a good book is whether I am sad that it ends or not. And if there is a sequel, am I clicking my way as fast as I can over to amazon.com to buy the next one....drum roll, please...yes, I did! And I have already finished it! Illusions (The Vampire Destiny Series Book #2) review will be coming soon!

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I saw some reviews that compared it to 50 Shades, which I haven't read, but doesn't that book involve BDSM? This book doesn't.

There is a lot of graphic language during sex, but it just felt like it was thrown in there and I'm not sure why. And half of it was in Swedish, which was different...but then there was a glossary in the back to translate and that just seemed weirder. There wasn't too much story development, just sex.

Basically Stefan is an almost 1,000 year old Swedish vampire (uh, hello Eric from True Blood) who for the last 200 years has been having these dreams about his soul mate. He's been on a search for her ever since. He finally finds her, Josephine, in Bali. Josephine is an empath and she sees futures, we don't really know why she is living in Bali.

They are attracted right away and start having marathon sex. She takes his revelation that he is a vampire quite well. "Hey, you don't have a hearbeat...oh! It's because you're a vampire. Ok." Whatever.

I am contemplating reading the second book to see if it gets any better. I may be gluten for punishment.

This book is steamy, I love vampire books and I really like the premise of this book. I have fallen in love with Stefan, he is true hero material and quite the dominant man and I think Josie is a strong-willed woman that made this story fun and interesting, she was a challenge for him. I loved how she found out that Stefan was a vampire, laying on his chest, so happy, then.....Her friend Georgia left alot to be desired, she acted more like her mother then her friend. I really liked Anna and Lukas, they were a great addition to the story. The book is probably 60% sex and 40% story but the sex is very hot and it does show how intense Stefan's feelings are for Josie. There is a part in the book that begins to show how much of a connection there is already between Stefan and Josie, and how this relationship can build her up but at the same time it could tear her apart. I will say at the end when surprises were revealed I knew the next book was going to be a good one, I can't wait to see where all of this is headed.

Great start 2 this page turning series.

I'm always looking for new books 2 read and when I found this one was excited. This book had me the minute I started 2 read. A vampire that dreamed of his gated one, a human that had her own psychic abilities, and a friend that would do anything for Josey. A vampire (Stefan) that has done things he regrets and doesn't want 2 keep doing, a child that is flamboyant and came from a time when his way of life could kill him, and men and women who would luv 2 kill him or see him miserable for the rest of his undead life. A father that will do anything 2 keep his secrets hidden regardless the price, and a brother that wants a family and luv in his life.

What more can you ask for besides; intrigue, murder, manipulation, lies, and evil deeds that have 2 b uncovered in order 2 find the truth. I'm sorry,I almost forgot. This book is also very steamy and guaranteed 2 heat u up even on the coldest nights.

SEX IS A HUGE PART OF THIS BOOK!

I agree with a few of the comments i skimmed over that this book does take awhile to hit a plot, BUT me being the way I am I cant resist the erotics.

The plot doesn't really pick up till close to the end, but believe me that cliff hanger at the end is enough to make me want to start the next book. The moral here is you like a book filled with sex and can stick it out to the end go for it! you wont regret the read even if it just for pure erotic enjoyment. Since I did win this book and got it as a free read I can't be to upset p;us the name itself scream sex book.

If sex at ever turn of the page isn't your idea of a good book then you might be best to skip it. '
Over all I enjoyed the book and I am still waiting on the other 2 books I got.

Smmookkiinngg HOT!!! Couldn't put this book down!! This is a paranormal fantasy book filled with a HOT-SEXY-EROTIC Vampire male and fun female characters having smoking hot relations...heehee.....ALL throughout this book. A definite reread of like a 1000x. Oh ya, I very much liked the story as well and it's good to note that this is also an ongoing series!! Can't wait until the next installment from Alexandra Anthony coming out in September 2012.

Well done......loved it.

Put 50 shades of shit down and pick this one up if you want good erotica with characters you like and want to root for with GOOD WRITING as apposed to undeserving crap writing.

Here is my view on Fated.

A) It's a much shorter book than most on the market. It's not Twilight, filled with non-sensical musings about the color of Stefan's hair and how he dazzles her at every glimpse.

B) This is a series book. The plot slowly unfurls in each book. Fated is a plot within itself. You have a vampire that has been waiting 200 years for her. And he's a vampire. Imagine finding that out.
Fated love and Destiny. Hello.

C) This book is labeled as Paranormal Romance/Erotica. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

D) I love the whole series. Great read and I love that her vampires are out walking among us.
