Our 16 yr old son wanted brunch catered for his family birthday meal. The staff at Fat Freddy's was outstanding, responsive to inquiries, and most important the foot was excellent. Generous well cooked and seasoned portions. We would use them again for other occasions.

There are really no words to describe how pleased we were for our Vow Renewal Celebration on 17 February 2024! However, I will try to express our thoughts in this article. First, the contract was perfect for the small amount of guests (40) we entertained. Then, the presentation and quality of food was absolutely perfect, as well. We chose a BBQ buffet preceded by a wonderful appetizer all staged in a custom that was overwhelming to us and our guests by a single presenter named 'Dan' who, again. was so very pleasant, professional and seemed invisible to our party. What an outstanding event that my wife, Maggie, and I will never forget!!! For sure, our guests will never forget this occasion and all agreed that they will hire the team from Fat Freddy's in the future!!

Fat Freddy's did an amazing job for us catering a 60th bday party. Cameron was professional and helpful. Jonah was a great carver and helped clear. The buffet was beautfully decorated and the FOOD oh my goodness was amazing! Some of our guests were chefs and caters themselves and they raved about the food! Will recommend Fat Freddys to everyone.

60 bday party of 30...catered and set up. Food was OUTSTANDING. Everyone asked what restaurant this was from...a little pricey-but if you want to do it right...do this.

We experienced Fat Freddy's food when we did a dinner cruise on Lake Pleasant. I had to come on here and rave about how incredible the food was. We had the cream chicken, brisket, mashed potato's, green beans and carrot cake. We absolutely loved it and could not stop raving about how perfect everything was cooked and tasted just amazing. I would love to use them to cater for us in the future!

i must be honest, attended a birthday party celebration that was being catered.. i had low expectations on food, service etc.. but when i got to the party, the service level from JESSICA was outstanding - engaging to all attendees and literally catered to everyone's needs.

engaging, personality, JESSICA fit into the party and was dialed in down to the detail.

now that you know that FAT FREDDY has outstanding service and will fit into your party/event - lets get to it.

we did the BBQ selection for about 40-50 people, i gotta tell you.. i know great bbq having gone to college near LOCKHART, TX (black's bbq and Bryans and i know the salt lick inn in far south west austin) - Fat freddy delivered:
the ribs were tender, flavorful and fall off the bone
the chicken was among the best i have had and perfectly seasoned.
The brisket was well cooked, better seasoned and absolutely swimming in the best juice ever - the brisket did not need BBQ sauce.
the mac and cheese was good, the potato salad was acceptable (hey, i dont think after the ribs and brisket i even remember eating the salad) haaaa

my next event will not only be catered from this FAT FREDDY - but i will request Jessica by name - well done

Although my interactions with this business did not start in the most positive manner, the owner reached out to me and has gone above and beyond to exceed my expectations.

I will provide an updated review and rating once the event is completed.

They catered my sisters wedding and the food and service was amazing! definitely would reccomend!
