Bear sightings continue in Prescott

PRESCOTT – A black bear that was seen in the parking lot of the Frontier Village shopping center Sunday, June 26, and that eluded capture despite having been shot with a tranquilizer dart, may have stayed in the area and rummaged through trash cans, looking for food Monday.

Hayley Greenwell, who lives on Badger Mountain behind Frontier Village, said a bear was in her front yard at about 4:15 a.m. Monday.
