Jerzees

Not my favorite. This place was full of the oddest crowd I've ever seen, and not in an amusing way.

We came here twice in one night. The first time wasn't so bad, we waited in line to get through the entrance. After we got carded, we went straight to the dance floor, with a brief detour to the throw up covered bathroom, ick.

The second time was after an amazing dance party at 9ds Bar. I don't remember the reason why we came back here, but we made our way to the back, past more vomit, and danced on the lifted dance floor. It was fun until some awkward random people tried to get into our girls night circle. No, we don't want to dance with you... Go away... It might have been a different story if they were better looking and not so awkward (am I being shallow?) but I was not nearly tipsy enough to dance with awkward strangers.

The entire time we were here, I was just wishing we were at 9ds Bar. So don't waste your time, just make your way next door to 9ds Bar.

Turned my friend away for wearing 'athletic shorts' even though they were made of the same material as khaki shorts. Seemed racially motivated. Plus they always let underage kids in and it ruins the vibe. There's 80+ bars in Athens, check out one of the others (wonderbar and magnolias are pretty good imo)!

So, went to the costume party and was turned away do to work boot shoes. It was a costume party for cry in out loud. Won't go back.

Employees that were off the clock tonight were drinking and started fighting people. Not only that, they confronted someone that had nothing to do with the issue they brought up. Trashy is an understatement. Never going back. These are not the kind of employees you need working for you. Ratchet ratchet ratchet.

WOW! I am shocked no one has written a review for this bar! I love Jerzees because of their super cheap drink specials and great atmosphere. Jerzees is always the last stop in our bar adventures in Athens. At the end of the night, everyone ends up here. I don't suggest you coming in before 12. It is super dead. They also have beer pong tables, but I like to just hit the dance floor. Great place to have fun!

Jerzees is such a fun bar! the bartenders r so amazing and ive had the BEST experience w kesley and alisa!!!! It has the best atmosphere and hospitality. Jess is also good and donna and also erin!! Best bar on athens everyone alsways has the best time.

Worst bar ever !! Their so judgmental & the security is way out of their league for putting their hands on paying customers!!! The owner is unprofessional.. they told me and my friends we weren't allowed bc of high top shoes last week so this week we decided to follow their rules and wear low top shoes but that wasn't enough , it still was a problem!! So we went home to change & actually got in , after being in there for about 45 mins , they walked up to my brother ON HIS BIRTHDAY being aggressive & telling him he's out of dress code & then forcing themselves to On him & punching him !! It took 4 of them !! So unprofessional, they need to handle situation better and start communicating w one another !! This is ridiculous!!

Worst experience ever. The guys at the front entrance were rude & turned around a few of my friends because they had on Jordan's shoewear, because they were "athletic wear" , but those same guys all had on Nike shoes??? Which is indeed, "athletic wear" as well. Stay away if you don't want to be treated unfairly

Definitely the place to go to if you are looking to dance. It has an awesome party atmosphere. Also, a big plus is the friendly service from the bartenders.

Jerzees is a super unique bar being one of the biggest bars downtown. Every time I have been in the drinks taste good and I am met with amazing customer service. The awesome prices and awesome staff are what keep me coming back everytims!
