MWCC is very excited to announce our very first executive director: Kristin Sewak

Kristin's professional work of 15 years has focused on caring for nature. At age 26, she worked with partners to create Natural Biodiversity, a Johnstown, Pennsylvania non-profit organization that works with people to restore biodiversity within PA landscapes. Kristin earned a BS in Ecology from University of Pittsburgh, graduated from the Cambria County Chamber of Commerce's community leadership initiative, and is a certified Habitat Stewards Host with the National Wildlife Federation. In 2010, she became one of 40 young people in Pennsylvania to be honored with Pennsylvania Environmental Council's "40 under 40" award, which recognized emerging environmental leaders.  Kristin is currently finishing a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and spending time with her husband David and their three children, Aedan, Cassidy and Sage.  She looks forward to leading and serving the Council and to living in Big Sky Country!

Have you ever considered being a part of MWCC leadership? We are now accepting self-nominations to the Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity for individuals who would like to make a difference for watersheds throughout Montana. Below is a description of Board member roles and responsibilities, as well as the 2012 MWCC Annual Report and a self-nomination form. Nominations will be accepted through December 31, 2013
