Yellowstone says 'biobullets' for bison won't work
Shooting wild bison with vaccine-laced “biobullets” to prevent the spread of disease to livestock would be too ineffective to justify the expense, Yellowstone National Park administrators said Tuesday.... The first of three Omega Morgan megaloads headed for Montana and points beyond remains stalled by weather on the Idaho side of Lost Trail Pass.

Murray works on land issues with national counties group
Lewis and Clark County Commissioner Mike Murray is helping the National Association of Counties formulate policy on issues pertaining to federally owned lands.

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality has officially approved Golden Sunlight Mine’s operating permit.

Reclamation and Development Grants Program 2014 
The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation Reclamation and Development Grants Program (RDGP) announces the release of grant applications for the 2014 grant cycle. Applications are due on May 15, 2014.
