ROG as we all know is the premium brand of ASUS and features all the premium line of products which have exclusively been designed for the enthusiasts and gamers. Now the ASUS ROG GTX 780 Ti Poseidon is to become part of this series. It is going to be based on the powerful GK110-425 B1 core architecture with 2880 cores, 240 TMUs and 48 ROPs. There are chances that just like the EVGA card, this one too will feature 6 GB GDDR5 VRAM but there is another possibility too of the stick with the 3 GB memory running across a 256-bit interface. An 8+6 Pin power configuration will be required by the card to boot. This piece of information hasn’t been officially revealed in the specs but it is has been figured out from the pictures which have been shown.

Moving on to the cooler shroud, it is somewhat following the same red and black scheme, typical to the ASUS design. The dual fans featured on the card will push the air towards the center of the large aluminum fin array which features the heat pipe design. The card is a hybrid cooling design and this will give users the flexibility to choose between Air cooling, Water Cooling or even both if that is effective. There is a Direct contact base which houses a large metal bracket and the two inlets featured on it provides the perfect amount of water flow that transfers coolant to the copper base.
