This is a great little story. It is a short story of two beings, a reaper that did not know she was a reaper and a fae. We get to follow both main characters with their coming of age mission. I was hoping that the mission would have put up more fight, as he has been escaping death for ten years. I thought the characters were likeable and developed. I just wished this was a full length novel. I would like to read about the overthrow. Wonder what I am talking about? Get this story and find out. This book was given to me for an honest review.

A fascinating plot that engages you from the first paragraph. The characters are infectious--you want to know them, and then you want to know more of them. The story-line moves quickly and makes abrupt turns that puts the reader in a "anything can happen" mindset that keeps you wanting more. Highly recommend.

OMFG, what a cliffhanger this ending had. I am so hoping that there will be more adventure and sexual pleasure to come with story.
I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I was addicted to the main characters, Keelan and Kymber and I am anxious to know more of their story. The names of these characters alone, made this story so amazing. I loved the uniqueness and twisted turns that has brought this story to life. The author really knows how to feed your libido and yet keep us on the edge of our seats with suspense and secrecy. This story is phenomenally and amazingly seductive, and erotically sexy. I absolutely love the world that this author as written for us. It is a lot different to other dark paranormal stories that I have read, which has made this one one of my favorites. I HIGHLY recommend this short story that will sure keep you screaming for more.

A great short story that could be the beginning of a great series. I liked the spin of a 'grim reaper' as a main character and how it twisted in to the Fae world as well.
I think that Kymber was a bit too accepting of Kheelan when he approached her. Maybe if there had been a bit more of a story line into why she thought herself different from other people and why she was accepting of meeting with him to discuss her 'difference". Just a couple extra paragraphs in the beginning.
Overall I like the story. It laid roots to what would be a great novel if written thoroughly. I also think that maybe this should of been a 1.5 instead of a 1, IF it were to be a series with #1 being the story of Kheelan's brother. That would of lead into more of the problems that seemed to lead to the hurriedness of 'overthrowing' Kheelan's father.
Would I read another of Ms. Bathory's books....absolutely! So please don't keep me waiting ;)

Kymber knew she was different, she’s always felt that way, but she never knew why. When Kheelan enters her life everything changes for her in one night. They both have missions that they must complete, but Kheelan must tell Kymber the truth about who she really is.
This is a cute little coming of age story with two fun characters. It’s a short read that packs a good punch.
My only question is will Kheelan complete his mission?

The concept and the flow of the story is good.
I love how the characters were created, unique personality that
gave them a distinct character that made them easy to love.
The characters, Kymber and Kheelan are good.
They are easy to love and relate with.
I love Kheelan's mysteriousness.
It added in his bad-ass aura.. Gah!
The story, it's fast paced but I loved it.
It's just right that it perked up my interest on the story and characters.
The way the story ended, loved it!
Can't wait to see what will happen next!

I was given this book by the author in return for an honest review.
I enjoyed reading this book but was gutted that it was only a short story.
Finding out Khymber was in fact a Reaper was a twist I wasn't expecting.
It was well written and I look forward to reading more by this author,
hopefully another instalment of this story as would love to see if Kheelan's plan to overthrow his Father works.

This is a fast paced interesting story. Kymber is approached by a man who says they need to talk. I devoured this story, from supernatural to an amazing fantasy I was hooked. I just wished we had more insight to her. I would not accept that kind of news without batting an eye lash!! Can't wait for book 2! WaAR

I really enjoyed reading this story. It was short, yet very well written. It was fun, interesting, and it held my attention. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future!
Kymber always knew she was different but she always wondered why? What made her different? Why do people usually say away from her or avoid her like the plague? All these questions bubbled in her head and were unanswered. That is, until the day that he showed up and told her some news that changed her life forever.
Kheelan has been watching Kymber for the past few weeks. He holds the truth about Kymber, her past and her future. But he also needs her. He has a plan and it involves Kymber and her hided powers. Together, they will realize their true potential and find love in the process.
I recommend this book to everyone. It was great!

This was an awesome fast paced read you can enjoy in one setting. It hooked me from the get go. Kymber meets a hot mysterious stranger that gives her shocking news shes not human. She takes it in stride shes always known she was different and now she knows why. Kymber discovering she is a reaper she goes on her first mission with Kheelans help but not before they get better acquainted with some hot steamy sex. Once the mission is over is appears Kheelan has his own agenda. Then it ends. Im left wanting more and hoping there is another book.

This is my first Reaper story. I absolutely loved it. I think these characters developed well in the story. The hot chemistry between Kheelan and Kymber made me sweat. I couldn't put this down. I almost burned dinner. LOL!
It's a short story, so it had to go quickly, but for Kymber's first mission I was expecting a little more action but still an amazing story.
The cliffhanger was a cruel thing to do Ms. Elvira. It has left me sooooo anxious for more. I can't wait for the sequel to see how Kheelan's big plan works out.

Kheelan needs to tell Kymber who she really is. Kymber has always suspected she's different from everyone else. They meet up and go to her house to talk, sexual tension builds with their closeness. Even though Kymber's mission is time sensitive they act on their feelings though forbidden by Kheelan's clan..will he follow in his brothers footsteps? Kymber finds out who she is and her mission, but Kheelan also has plans for her.. Great short story with an opening for a sequel :)
