The film is called 'each is a DREAM'. In it there were women in front of mirrors, combing their hair, preparing for dates, eventually freaking out and weeping. It was about how everyone you see is just what you want to see, or choose to see - a reflection of your mind. At one point the narrator says "Each one of them is a dream in the other's mind". This sentence really caught my eye and inspired the song. You see, ninety percent of what we see is illusion. We create it the way it appears to be, but there is much more to it than that It was another recording I worked on with John Parish in Bristol. We recorded the whole thing live in the studio, me in one room singing and playing the autoharp, John in the other singing and playing the drums. Paul O'Bryan, my co-writer, used the chorus of the song as a jumping off point for the verses in which two people see each other and imagine what the other person is doing and thinking.
