Nebraska Black Sports Hall of Fame

The Class of 2017 was inducted into the Nebraska Black Sports Hall of Fame in Omaha on Thursday night at DC Centre.
NFL veteran Ralph Brown and former Creighton basketball star John C. Johnson led the class of athletes. Tom Osborne was the featured speaker at the banquet.
Leodis Flowers, Kenton Keith, Daryl Stovall, Richie Ross, Carri Butler-Collins, Victor Jordan, Rudy Ross, Clarence Jones, Edward Hubbard, Galen Gullie, Leah Turner, Sherman Wright, and Willie Vinson were also inducted into the Hall of Fame.
