Over the weekend, K-pop group BTS kicked off the Nagoya, Japan stop of their Love Yourself Tour by unveiling some brand-new hair colors. Several members, including RM, Jin, and Suga, dyed their hair variations of what seems to be BTS's hair stylist's favorite hue: gray. V and Jimin went with stunningly bright shades, though.

Jimin has officially returned to the same iconic soft bubblegum pink that he had during BTS's "Spring Day" era. V, on the other hand, colored his hair a vibrant, ocean-like turquoise. To me, both felt very much in on-theme with the "Love Yourself" color palette and reminded me of the album packaging for Love Yourself: Her and Love Yourself: Answer. For many BTS fans, or ARMY as they're officially called, the new dye jobs have a deeper meaning. They even noticed some amazing coincidences. Let's break them down.

1. Their new hair colors align with their birthstones.

Someone on Twitter who goes by @snowberrytae noticed that both hues are the same colors as each member's birthstones. Jimin's is pink tourmaline for the month of October while V's is turquoise for December. I thoroughly respect @snowberrytae for connecting the dots. Coloring your hair based on your birthstone should be a 2019 hair-color trend. I'll go topaz for November.

2. V coordinates his earrings with his hair color.

After seeing BTS on the Neward stop of their Love Yourself tour, I noticed that V wears some incredible earrings on stage. @v95_S2 on Twitter had a more keen sense of observation and noticed that the singer's earrings are often the same exact color as his hair. They even tracked down four examples, including three that included different shade selections of the same Chanel logo pair. There is a saying that goes, "Third time's a pattern."

3. V also matches his dye jobs to his suits.

When V's hair was red, ARMY went crazy when he wore a red suit for the 2018 MAMAs in Japan. They also noted that he wore a tan suit when his hair was blonde, and a pink suit when his hair was...well, you get it.

Now that his hair is blue, ARMY believes it only a matter of time until he wears a blue suit. Maybe he'll even wear a Canadian tuxedo.
