Night

2003
Sarah Sze (American, born 1969) Printed and published by the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies, Columbia University, New York
Sarah Sze is best known for her strikingly novel sculptures and installations made of a myriad of ordinary objects magically combined in large assemblages that appear to defy gravity. Always a source of wonder, they are her means of giving visual form to the chaotic complexity and interconnectedness of today's world. Her print Night is equivalent in scale and imagery to the sculptures, providing a colorful maelstrom of lines, shapes, and forms that speed over a partially obscured layer of what appear to be architectural structures.
