Happy Spring! I have to begin this column with big congratulations. In the latest ratings, ALL ZGS stations were the most watched Spanish-language Late Newscast in their markets among key demos. Also, El Paso, and Tampa earned the highest Primetime ratings regardless of language across all key audiences. These are first-rate accomplishments, that, have only been achieved through everyone's hard work, teamwork and enthusiasm. Our strategy to be local and serve our community is working. Bravo everyone!
Additional, congratulations to the
Telenoticias Orlando news team on the successful launch of their news expansion. After months of preparation, brainstorming, trial and error and strategizing your hard work and dedication has clearly paid off. The program is a clear success!
We're keeping eye on new technologies and the future of broadcast television. ATSC 3.0 is coming, and we're now in the 4K era. It should mean better over-the-air (free) TV, with drastic improvements in audio and video , with incorporating mobile.
I am so proud of the hard-working team we have within the ZGS family. You continually rise to new challenges and push towards new achievements. Let's stay focused, and work to keep our top performances and keep the momentum going. The sky is the limit!
Un abrazo
