Nigeria thump Argentina 4-2

Two goals from Alex Iwobi inspired the Super Eagles of Nigeria to a 4-2 victory over Argentina.

Argentina who were without their talisman Lionel Messi laboured in vein and were put to the sword by the Africans.

Ever Banega started the scoring for Argentina in the 27th minute, before Manchester City star Sergio Aguero doubled the score line in the 36th minute, but Ihenacho reduced the deficit in the 44th minute through a well taken free kick.

The Eagles soared back to life in the second half when Iwobi equalised in the 52nd minute to make it 2-2.
