Hambleton cyclists are being urged to support next week’s national ‘Cycle to Work Day’.

The event, championed by British Cycling and Sustrans, aims to encourage everyone to take to two wheels and cycle to work for just one day – Wednesday 14 September.

In the lead up to the day five quality bikes are up for grabs just by pledging to ride at www.cycletoworkday.org.

Anyone cycling to work within Hambleton either on Wednesday 14 September or any day next week could win £50 of vouchers from Cowleys Cycles of Northallerton.  To enter contact David Earl on 01609 767202 or david.earl@hambleton.gov.uk  and pass on your ride details, experiences and photographs.

For more information on cycling related events within Hambleton and the “Get Hambleton Cycling” campaign contact David Earl.
