Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Pictured

Many details had been revealed since the Radeon R9 290 was pictured by a user on the Chiphell forums and this one was branded by Sapphire. The card has been based on the AMD’s reference board design which was very much expected from this and the design is more or less like the one which was featured on the R9 290X. And it is not just the reference board design which looks similar to R9 290X, but this one also comes along with the same number of memory chips.

It almost looks like as if the Radeon R9 290 has been build and designed under the maximum influence from its partner, the Radeon R9 290X. Both of these have the same combination of 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe power connectors, they also feature the dual-BIOS and have the equal amount of VRM phases.
