Rudy Giuliani caught with his hand down his pants with a woman posing as a 15-year-old

Giuliani Speaks to the Media

I generally find Sacha Baron Cohen to be a pretty problematic person, and that goes for the characters he creates too. But someone, somewhere thought it would be a good idea to give Cohen money for a second Borat film. Borat was arguably his most successful character, in that the movie grossed over $250 million worldwide, on an $18 million production budget. The second film is called Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, and it’s filmed in the same haphazard faux-documentary style, with some people playing along with a wink, and some people genuinely conned by Cohen’s Borat character. Well, the studio doesn’t even have to buy any ad time for the film now, because every news outlet is completely freaking out (justifiably) about Rudy Giuliani’s appearance in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. You can’t buy this kind of coverage. Nor will you be able to UNSEE this story:

The reputation of Rudy Giuliani could be set for a further blow with the release of highly embarrassing footage in Sacha Baron Cohen’s follow-up to Borat. In the film, released on Friday, the former New York mayor and current personal attorney to Donald Trump is seen reaching into his trousers and apparently touching his genitals while reclining on a bed in the presence of the actor playing Borat’s daughter, who is posing as a TV journalist.

Following an obsequious interview for a fake conservative news programme, the pair retreat at her suggestion for a drink to the bedroom of a hotel suite, which is rigged with concealed cameras. After she removes his microphone, Giuliani, 76, can be seen lying back on the bed, fiddling with his untucked shirt and reaching into his trousers. They are then interrupted by Borat who runs in and says: “She’s 15. She’s too old for you.”

In the film Borat is dispatched by the Kazakh government back to the US to present a bribe to an ally of Donald Trump in order to ingratiate his country with the administration. After the monkey earmarked for the gift is indisposed, Borat’s supposedly underage offspring becomes the replacement present.

Even before he reaches into his trousers, Giuliani does not appear to acquit himself especially impressively during the encounter. Flattered and flirtatious, he drinks scotch, coughs, fails to socially distance and claims Trump’s speedy actions in the spring saved a million Americans from dying of Covid. He also agrees – in theory at least – to eat a bat with his interviewer.

[From The Guardian]

I’m sorry, but that last paragraph is a work of art? HANG IT IN THE LOUVRE. “He also agrees – in theory at least – to eat a bat with his interviewer.” Whew. LMAO. I mean, I’m laughing because OMFG, but yes, this is absolutely horrible. This is genuinely a sting operation that the authorities would have used to catch human traffickers, rapists and child molesters. My God.

For all of Cohen’s faults, the timing of his film release is pretty perfect.

    • whatWHAT? says:

and Rudy Colludi’s reasoning is that this whole thing was to distract from his exposing the “criminal enterprise family” that is the Bidens.

laughable. and even if it were true (narrator: it’s not), YOU STILL FONDLED YOURSELF in anticipation of a sex act with person you thought was a teenager, Rudy. you’re gross, and a criminal.

and if a comedian and actor were able to fool him so easily, imagine what a Russian spy could make him do.

      • Jellybean says:

Don’t get me wrong, I loath the man, but I will wait and see about the supposed sexual nature of the scene. I did read a comment from one person who had seen it all and who said the photo was being totally misrepresented. He did add that there was still plenty to be revolted by.

      • josephine says:

@ Jellybean. I can believe that a photo is misrepresented, but I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around how. How can it ever be ok for a grown man to have his hands down his pants in the presence of someone he believes to be a teen. I realize that the loathsome will try to create a spin for this, because let’s face it, Republicans think teen girls are fine to prey upon — look who leads their party — but I’m not creative enough to figure out their angle myself.

I’m exhausted by men thinking that everything they do is excusable because women are somehow to blame. That Biblical story apparently has screwed us all for the rest of human history.

      • whatWHAT? says:

and who was the “one person” who says he saw it and that it was misrepresented? is that person Republican, Democrat, other? is he trustworthy and do you consider him to be someone with integrity? is it even someone you know or is it just a comment you read on the internet?

because the only “misrepresentation” that Rudy et al are claiming is that “it was a tuck”. other than that, they aren’t saying anything about how it was “misrepresented”. I agree that there is plenty to be disgusted about, but that doesn’t mean that this isn’t EXACTLY what it looks like.

      • Louisa says:

I don’t even care if he really was tucking himself in. He went back to a hotel room with a woman / girl he believed to be a teenager. The whole thing is so revolting and I’m really sick of people defending this .. and Toobin… and all the other crap that men think they have the right to do.

      • MM2 says:

Anyone who argues that he was just tucking in his shirt reminds me of the quote: “It’s easier to fool people than it is to convince them that they have been fooled.” (Mark Twain).

      • Ummmm says:

Pretty sure Rudy thought she was a cookie-cutter, 20 something Faux Noise Reporter Barbie – still gross, but not the same as thinking she was a teenager.

      • pottymouth pup says:

there was a lot of commentary from the left that indicated the reference to the faux journalist only being 15 didn’t come in until Cohen enters the room screaming it. That said, I think he was still married at the time and the fact he was going to sleep with a “journalist” after an interview is pretty unprofessional (which means nothing to the MAGAts) and since it seemed to be consensual, I don’t know why he’s claiming he’s just tucking his shirt in

  2. Sayrah says:

    Ewww so gross

He thinks he’s free and clear because he called the police and claims he wasn’t duped by SBC. I’d say the damage is done. But it’s not like Trump or his supporters care if a 76 year old is fluffing to have sex with a possible minor … as long as he likes Trump.

    • Zapp Brannigan says:

There is no way Giuliani would have slept with that woman, she is not his (second) cousin.

      • lisa says:

        ^^^ LOL!

      • Joanna says:

        Haha, GOOD ONE ZAPP@

      • Victoria says:

Hahahahaahahahahaha! I watched it last night. I kept asking if this movie was for real and if the Pence and Giuliani scenes were true and how were they executed? It’s definitely a satire in the absurdity of the handling of covid and the upcoming election. The CRINGE was real

  3. Bros says:

I just rewatched Borat and it holds up. It presages the era of Trump and I dont find sacha at all problematic. He exposes racism and stereotypical attitudes and has done his whole career. His speech at the ADL was great and he is out on the front lines right now warning about fascism and autocracy . He just had an interview in the NYT which was great too-he is smart and educated and is an activist comedian doing some important political work, albeit with transgressive methods, and that is OK by me!

I see him as the chorus in a greek drama, narrating and providing important information about what’s going on on the main stage.

    • Louisa says:

I never watched Borat and while I don’t find Cohen problematic, I am just not into his kind of “cringe” humor but I did read the NYT interview and came away with a lot of respect for him.

    • souperkay says:

I will never forget his NPR fresh air interview where he played an unused clip from Borat where in a bar I think in Arizona, he got a lot of white people to sing throw the Jew down the well, enthusiastically. It was so dark, he did not use it for the finished film and said it was one of the times he was most frightened. That is what I think of when I think of SBC, that he as a Jewish man goes to confront and expose these horrid bigots even though it is personally dangerous for him to do so.

      • Mumbles says:

I think that scene made it to his HBO Ali G show?

In any event SBC is a really smart guy, did his uni dissertation on the American Civil Rights movement. There’s a sly intelligence that undercuts his humor.

      • Turtledove says:

Agreed. I think SBC is a national treasure.

      • Cidee says:

He is a hero, as far as I’m concerned (Also happens to be super dreamy in real life….but that’s immaterial).

    • anniefannie says:

I’m with you, I watched the 1st movie w/ my Trump loving ex in laws years ago and I couldn’t contain my love for him ( literally crying w/laughter) but most notable was my FIL seething thru the whole movie. That’s when I knew I was a SBC fan forever

    • manda says:

I agree. I think he’s very talented. Borat makes my skin crawl, but SBC was in that show about the Israeli spy in Syria and he did an amazing job. I had never heard that story!

    • Wilma says:

I’m not aware of SBC being problematic? I don’t share his brand of humour, but the interviews I read with him made me think very highly of him. I’ll go check if there’s something I should know.

    • Chris says:

We rewatched Borat yesterday and some jokes do not hold up. I get what he’s doing, but sometimes I’m like, “who is the butt of the joke here?” There’s a scene where he’s sitting with a group of women who are trying to explain women’s rights to him and he keeps saying mysoginist things. One woman gets so frustrated and upset she walks away. So what are we laughing at here? While I think he’s effective at skewering certain things like anti semitism and homophobia, he misses the mark in other areas sometimes, like making women the butt of mysoginist jokes. Like the naked fighting scene where they streak by people, including women on an elevator makes me uncomfortable. We can’t be like, “it’s okay for dudes to expose themselves to women in closed spaces because it’s a prank to point out racism and homophobia!” I like the frat bro scene though, well done exposing them. He’s a smart satirist so I hope he will show some growth in the next borat.

      • bros says:

he makes fun of the extremes, right or left. Fascism can sneak in from the left as well. In his next film he does even more calling out of extremist and fascistic attitudes on the left, and rightly so. He and Matt Taibbi are two of my favorites for exposing the ouroboros snake of rightist and leftist fascism.

      • whatWHAT? says:

what “fascistic attitudes on the left” are you referring to?

  4. Harla says:

I died laughing yesterday as this was all over the front page of the Fail!

    • Who ARE These People? says:

I’ve laughed only a few times about the US situation since Nov. 2016. One was the dossier with the golden showers. This was another. Real belly laughs. Giuliani’s always been racist and rotten, but he’s also such a drunken schmuck.

  5. Kalana says:

Did he know she was supposed to be 15 before SBC stopped things? Though it doesn’t matter. This is sexual harassment.

    • Sayrah says:

My understanding is in the film “Borat” asks his “15 year old daughter” to portray a journalist to trick Rudy. So he may have assumed she was a very young looking of age journalist. When in reality she is an of age actress playing a 15 year old playing an of age journalist.

      • pottymouth pup says:

sorry, commented above before I saw this. Giuliani wasn’t told she was 15 – that age didn’t come up until Cohen burst in the room

  6. Jay says:

The story from the guardian clearly stated that the actress playing this scene was presented as a reporter assisting Borat – a young, vulnerable woman, certainly, so it’s still reprehensible and gross, but not necessarily underage/illegal.

  7. atorontogal says:

Couldn’t have happened to a worse pos!! I’m no Borat fan (especially the green thong) but I don’t mind him making these assholes look bad.
Did he think she was 15? Probably – the yuck factor from all these lecherous old coots is vomit inducing to say the least.

    • Lou says:

He doesn’t think she is 15 in the sequence, and she doesn’t behave as though she’s meant to be. But he’s still super squicky and inappropriate towards her. There’s zero need to lie down on the bed, and he pats her on the waist etc numerous times.

Rudy is an idiot for getting into that situation just for a chance at a pretty girl.

Sacha Baron Cohen is amazing, and the woman who plays his daughter is an absolute comic genius. She carries the film!

  8. Digital Unicorn says:

This was all over my twitter feed this morning and am still traumatised – I can’t imagine how that poor actress must have felt.

He is of course trying to spin it as he was tucking in his shirt.

    • Badrockandroll says:

Because one always tucks one’s shirt in while lying horizontal. On a bed. In a hotel. With a young woman. Who is not wife #1, #2 or #3. Aaah, the party of family values!

      • Turtledove says:

THIS! I can honestly say that in nearly 50 years on this earth, I have never laid down to tuck in a shirt. (There may have been a few instances in the 80s where I laid down to get my jeans zipped…but NEVER to tuck in a shirt)

I feel like this “excuse” is just ridiculous.

    • Esmom says:

Trump even tweeted that it was a “tuck” and later deleted the tweet. I cannot, cannot believe this hellscape we are in.

  9. SJ Knows says:

Ick. Period. Trumps entire team is awful.

  10. Lightpurple says:

I was having a tough workday yesterday and then this broke around the same time as the news of the Pope’s statement on marriage equality, neither was on my 2020 BINGO card.

    • Sayrah says:

Yeah, my Catholic mother in law has been convinced he’s not a legitimate pope for years. The Pope is not catholic enough for her and apparently there’s a group of Catholics who think there hasn’t been a legitimate pope since before John Paul II. She had to have been livid yesterday. Hahaha, good!

  11. Darla says:

Did you guys see trumpy’s tweet about this before he deleted? He said Rudy was TRICKED and was with a woman (young) and he TUCKED, and that trump does this all the time. He finished it of with an unhinged “IT WAS A TUCK”.

Honestly, what is there to say? It only makes me wonder how many videos Putin has of these cretins with real underage girls. All of them. All those R Senators who went to Russia? Rudy. Trump. Right wing journalists. All of them.

    • Esmom says:

I think you have got to be right. I was never really sure about the existence of “kompromat.” But seeing how naturally Rudy does this made me realize that this is very common for him and likely everyone in that deplorable circle.

      • Darla says:

I think so Esmom. That’s not the first time this guy laid down on a bed and stuck his hand down his pants. He was like “ohhh, this again! yum”. It’s bad, it’s really bad, and we will likely never know just how bad. I don’t think what Putin has will ever come to light, even in history books a century from now. Maybe then. But not that we’ll see anyway.

      • Who ARE These People? says:

This morning, something about Ghislaine Maxwell’s prior testimony will be unsealed.

    • Veronica S. says:

I will never forget that the Russians hacked both the DNC and RNC, but we only ever saw the DNC data. It speaks volumes about what they must have on them. I will die convinced Lindsey Graham was blackmailed due to some seriously shady shit with how fast he turned around on Trump.

      • josephine says:

Honestly, I feel like Graham could be bought for $5. It’s not like he has ever had integrity in my opinion. While I wish there was some big conspiracy to blame the last few years on, I’m not so convinced it’s not just the ability to be cruel and inhuman that motivates these men. I think men like Graham and Pence and Trump and Mitch simply enjoy being evil, and everyone else is along for the ride because they want to keep their positions and the enornous paydays that come with being able to raise money for elections and simply keep that money. Evil + greed. It’s a simple formula in my mind.

    • Lemons says:

There’s something to be said for the fact that this was organized by a film crew. Yes, I’m sure the techniques were top-notch, but they are also not an intelligence agency.

Imagine what the KGB or any other national-gov’t has at their disposal. This is child’s play for them. And they will have no problems using a young-looking woman or man to incriminate these people to get proof.

      • Jay says:

THIS! Rudy is the president’s personal lawyer, privy to so much sensitive info, and also if I recall correctly in charge of “cyber”. It’s almost cruel to think how easily he must have become a target of every foreign intel operation.

    • damejudi says:

I bet Rudy was looking forward to being on the bed with the “journalist” for a good ole TUCK.

      Gross goblin.

    • ChillyWilly says:

Darla, these were my thoughts exactly! If Borat can fool Rudy so easily, imagine what Putin has on these imbeciles. Pee tapes, anyone?

  12. FancyPants says:

I’m seeing this movie at an outdoor theater Saturday night- can’t wait! Wouldn’t it be hilarious if years from now people are writing think pieces on how Borat saved America?

    • Yup, Me says:

SBC/Borat is doing his work as an artist and activist and that needs to be acknowledged but no, one white man alone did not “save America”. That negates all the collective work done by numerous people over many years (from teens to seniors, from Black women who always had the damn sense to know not to trust Trump to the annoying ass switchover white women with their “I’m sorry” collective). Let’s not over simplify and leave out the importance of as many people as possible coming together to say no to these evil and horrible old white men and their cronies and their disgusting bullshit.

We need to take them all down and grind them to dust and fertilize a beautiful new Earth with the powder. SBC is one person helping to make that happen.

  13. scollins says:

All a misunderstanding. Rudy was just reaching for the Post-it note with his iPhone password.

  14. Noki says:

It just shows the state of the world that when i first heard this story i didnt even flinch.

  15. smee says:

    SBC is a comedic genius.

People confuse his character with him. He’s Jewish. He’s liberal. He’s antifascist. He doesn’t actually believe the things Borat says – it’s called satire.

THIS is perfect. RG was a buddy of Epstein – this “incident” is no doubt indicative of how this group of slime rolls (sTrumph included) with regard to underage women.

    Please, Rudy, eat the bat!

  16. cassandra says:

But, wait a minute, aren’t the Democrats are the ones with a pedophile sex ring?

    ::Continues screaming into the void::

  17. Who ARE These People? says:

Fantasizing about yelling at the former mayor out of a moving car:

    “Hey Rudy… tuck you!”

  18. Annie says:

So everyone around Trump is a pervert and a moron. Great. Look how easy it is to put them in compromising positions. This is why they’re all so loyal to him. Someone has stuff on every single one of them. I mean look at Lindsay Graham. He went from attacking Trump, to being the biggest boot licker there is. I wouldn’t doubt they have similar compromising material of him, maybe with minors, because of course they’re all into kids. I’m disgusted. Who runs this sh*t anyway? Look who’s in charge!

    • whatWHAT? says:

with Lady Graham, I don’t think it’s that he is into kids, but that he’s into bottoming, with escorts. the folks in SC would likely NOT take kindly to that kind of revelation. I mean, they all probably think he’s gay (as do most people) but as long as he keeps that behind closed doors, they can maintain plausible deniability and/or at least PRETEND it’s not true.

      • Sass says:

The euphemism we use to describe Graham and other closeted unmarried men in SC is “a lifelong bachelor.”

  19. Veronica S. says:

His poor daughter, geez. No wonder she wants nothing to do with him.

  20. Annaloo. says:

Wow, you can really see the Nosferatu in him rising with that pic of him lying down and his hands in his pant

  21. C-Shell says:

I think the concept of October Surprise isn’t working out for Trump and his minions the way they’d hoped. 🦇🦇🦇🦇🤣

  22. Bettyrose says:

I’ve never thought of SBC as problematic, but some days I’m still laughing at a memory from Ali G. Without the comedians who push the limits…how would we survive all this BS??

  23. aang says:

It took a me a while to work up the courage to click on this. I’ve been trying to ignore this story because it is so very disgusting. I’m sure many of these old powerful men do stuff like this all the time. They think young beautiful women just can’t help themselves when confronted with their manliness. Gross.

    • Veronica S. says:

I suspect it’s more likely they just don’t even consider what the young woman wants at all, to be honest.

  24. Midnight@theOasis says:

That top picture of Ghouliani 😂😂😂

  25. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

    Barf.

  26. Valerie says:

I love how people are like, why didn’t anyone say anything sooner? Because screening audiences sign NDAs. Trump knows about those; he makes just about everyone he comes into contact with sign one.

  27. lana86 says:

SBC is brilliant on so many levels. And a heartbreakingly good dramatic actor in The Spy…

  28. Truthiness says:

“IT WAS A TUCK!!” needs to become a Larry David bit. It’s hilarious already.

  29. Rose says:

Of all the things Rudy has done, it’s Borat who takes him down. Poetic justice.

  30. phlyfiremama says:

Borat was BRILLIANT. I resisted it for YEARS because I thought it was just some stupid nonsense. It isn’t, he very creatively skewers the AMERICANS responding to foreign accents and people perceived as “different”. It is both hugely entertaining and sometimes appalling, but it DEFINITELY was comic genius. I look forward to the second movie!! Even more so now~

  31. Moo says:

I cannot UNSEE the photo of Giuliani fondling himself in repose.
My brain needs a bleach bath now. In fairness, you warned me.
Also, I actually forgot this guy even has a penis. I just picture a shriveled lima bean.

  32. Kkat says:

His PR person stated that he was “Unfooled and flaccid”
    😂😂😂

  33. jferber says:

I did watch the first Borat, was prepared not to like it, and LOVED it. I, too, don’t find him problematic. He’s doing what comedy and satire do best– reveal hypocrisy and make total asses of contemptible, Teflon criminals.
