Dragon's Honor is the 6th book in Mina Carter's Paranormal Protection Agency series. Each book can be read as a stand alone book.

In Dragon's Honor, twin dragon shifters Baron and Duke are assigned to protect Honor Croft and secretly dig up dirt and her alleged criminal father. Nothing is as it seems and Baron has his hands full trying to protect Honor who turns out to be his fated mate.

I really enjoyed the story. I enjoyed the romance, the intrigue, the mystery. Honor and Baron get their HEA but the ending does leave open some loose ends that I can only hope is tied up in the next story if it is about Baron's twin brother Duke. I especially loved the brief mention of Iliona and her gargoyle lovers. I like all the books in the series but the first two with Iliona are still my favorite. Definitely recommend this series.

Every single erotic short in this series is fairly mediocre on all counts. If you're looking for a quickie with paranormal twists, by all means, have at it, but the 30-60 minutes invested wasn't worth it to me.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

After reading and loving the Strathstow Sharks and the Paranormal Protection Agency box set (Volumes 1-5), I was so excited to get my hands on Dragon's Honor because I've been dying to read a longer piece of Ms. Carter's writing. I'm pleased to say that she did not disappoint. In this novella, twin dragon shifters, Duke and Baron, are assigned to protect the daughter of a wealthy CEO with questionable business practices. Expecting to be stuck with a brainless, spoiled socialite diva, Baron is taken aback when Honor meets none of his preconceived assumptions, especially when his dragon recognizes her as their mate.

To make matters even more interesting, Honor responds to Baron's dragon without realizing or understanding her instantaneous reaction to him (and we do find out why later in the book). Despite her attraction, she is not happy when she learns that her father has hired Baron as a bodyguard for her and none too soon as the threat to her decides the wait is over and sets into motion its plan to acquire her. What follows is an action-packed thrill ride that include Ms. Carter's signature sex scenes - super hot with chemistry so intense it's a wonder my Kindle didn't overheat.

Dragon's Honor confirms yet again that I am a Mina Carter fan. Her writing is tight and entertaining and it doesn't matter if I'm reading a 30 page novelette or an 85 page novella, I get lost in the world she creates and enjoy spending time with her characters immensely. I'm off to read Dragon's Chase now!

Baron and Duke get a protection gig by what neither was expecting was for either of the shadow dragons to find their mates. Baron is the more sociable of the two and as point on this detail things get turned up a notch when he realizes their client is his mate.

Honor doesn't want a bodyguard, but she'll do as her father requests and keep him close, of course she wasn't expecting a hard body hottie like Baron.

With an unknown threat close by it'll take everything he's got to keep his newfound mate safe.

Baron is a bit on the quite side, but he's loyal and caring to the core. Honor isn't some prissy socialite, she's a tough as nails hardcore chick. She's not afraid to speak her mind or go up against anyone.

I loved the banter between the brothers and their push pull relationship keeps you on your toes wondering wants they'll do next to each other. And the banter between Honor and Baron are two perfect counterparts for each other, they both feel the other and even though they don't know each other long they did trust each other.

This one is longer than some of the stories in the series so far and I loved the more indepth knowledge to the characters. Can't wait for more and to se Duke and his mystery mate!

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Honor Croft knows something is quite right about one of her father's employees, Lambert Sellers, but she doesn't know odd he really is.

When her father hires Baron Smith to be her personal bodyguard, she agrees under duress, just to keep Daddy happy. Well, if she had to admit it, herself as well. Mr. Smith was one well-built body guard and wonders just how personal they could get.

Baron, a dragon shifter in a world of few dragons, knows Honor is his true mate the moment he lays eyes on her. Vowing to protect her with his life, he enlists his twin's help in keeping her safe.

Not knowing who or what is after her, Baron and Duke must be ever viligent in their duty to protect Baron's mate, because if she is lost, so is Baron.

Another wild ride from Ms. Carter. Love the dragon shifters and the men of the PPA.

5 stars for story but 3 stars for value for money.
Now this book is much more story and I really enjoyed having roughly 50 more pages to read. The blurb gives you most of the story line so I won’t recap except to say I think this and book 7 Dragons Chase are my two favourites so far in this series.
Twin dragon brothers Baron and Duke take on a security detail to protect Honor who turns out to be Barons mate.
They are shadow dragons and isn’t that interesting. It means one can be in public whilst the other one is in hiding watching for trouble.
Loved the interaction/relationship between Honor and Baron, it built well with a good storyline.
We also meet Dukes mate in this book who is working for the baddies. That story is the next book in PPA, Dragons Chase and is also worth reading. Buy the volume set for better value for money.
It was lovely to have the dragon twins meet their mates, Baron with Honor and Duke with Chase who is a real warrior dragoness.

Dragon’s Honor

A fast paced page turner that kept me reading on and on. Duke and Baron, shadow dragons are assigned protection duty for a human daughter of a business mogul. Daddy wants his little princess protected, but the princess doesn’t think she needs protecting. Fortunately, there’s a spark, instantaneous recognition that Baron’s dragon knows how special this Daddy’s princess really is.
Ms. Carter has woven a magical tale of paranormal excitement. Not only do you get dragons, you get redcaps (a fascinating lot, be sure to have some iron handy), trolls (that can make a nice midnight snack for a hungry dragon) and a cute little dragonet. Of course, there has to be the evil wizard that is behind the mischievous lot. And Baron’s dragon provides a whole lot of sizzle and steam between him and Honor.
Great read, I can’t wait to read more of this series.

I've had this book but didn't get a chance to read it right a way. Then it became part of the Roar, Growl and Kiss box set. Roar, Growl, & Kiss Multi-Author Box Set by Eliza Gayle Mina Carter's books have been a go to for me for awile and I always get exicted to grab her next one. Dragon Shifter's are one of my fav shifters. and I loved how she protrayed the dragons, from the first their personalities had me. I love a story that as me giggling at antics. The writer brought a bit different insight on shifters with this one at least for me, and I loved it! The bit of danger, meshed with the hot scenes made for a good story and cant wait to read the next in this series. Enjoy.

Now this is a short but sweet tale of a dragon and his treasure, and once again, the author has given us a new breed of dragon. Baron and his twin Duke have been assigned as protector of a human female in a case that will change Baron’s world. Honor is totally pissed at her father when he springs a bodyguard on her due to the threats he’s been receiving regarding her life. Little did they know just how much fate, aka Lucy, had to play in this arrangement, or how it would end. Lots of action with a bit of gore and heaps of sexy dragon, you won’t want to miss out on this one. Now, the only problem being, I can’t wait to read Duke’s story now

Dragon's Honor, the 6th book in the paranormal protection agency series, could be read as a standalone.

I read the first 5 books in a box set, and I wanted to know more about secondary characters.

Well, this is Baron's story and I loved it! I love that it also gives some tidbits about prior main characters.

** I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review **

The thoughts and opinions are mine and mine alone.

I'm really hoping that Duke gets his story told too. Mina Carter crafts a wonderfully written story, with characters you love.

I highly recommend this book, as well as all her books in the Paranormal Protection Agency series!

What can I say? Wow. I absolutely loved this book. I actually read this prior to reading the first 5 books in this series. Though other characters were mentioned it wasn't a confusing storyline to get to grips with.

I loved the characters, I mean come on... who wouldn't like Dragons? Awesome is the word. :) The female is a little snappy and snarky but it suits her. The man... well. *wafts self*

The story-line is solid. Well written. Excellent flow. Steamy scenes and General excellence.

Would definitely recommend.

Two Hot Dragon Shifters

I love Dragon shifters, and Mina Carter knows how to write them sexy and protective. One of the brothers will meet his fated mate, but can he protect her from an evil mage? I love a good plot and a HEA. This book did not have a cliffhanger, thank you! All the books in the Paranormal Protection Agency series are complete stories and can be read as stand-alone books. But I can see where a story is being set up for the other brother. I am anxious to read the next book in this series.

Exciting and suspenseful love story

This one is the best story in the series so far! The plot is thick with drama. The story has depth and layers and the characters are full bodied and realistically portrayed. The writing is more complex and plot driven and the love scenes are more like frosting. The cake is the story and the frosting makes the story sweeter.

Read because I need a author for the letter C, which is why I read out of order. Really liked this book. I know I lost some without reading the other books first, but I like the characters & this had plenty of action & mystery. I'll be reading the rest of the series.

She's All His

His new job has become personal since he met her. She doesn't think she needs a bodyguard until she meets him. They were instantly attracted to each other. Now they need to stay alive to have a life together. Enjoy I did.

This one follows Baron, a shadow dragon shifter and one half of a set of twins. They are assigned to protect Honor Croft (though the twin, Duke, is in shadow form on Baron's body, almost like a tattoo). Honor must have some pretty powerful enemies because Baron senses a lot of dark magic and they're attacked by Red Caps and Trolls. But Baron will do anything to protect Honor because he knows she's his mate and she's fallen for him as well.

As unexciting as some of the previous ones. This is just mildly entertaining and I honestly didn't get much from the sex, but that was probably my frame of mind. This might have been sexy if I wasn't so distracted by life right now. Standard sort of insta-lust occurs which quite quickly morphs into love on the "human's" part. I guess knowing Honor is his mate means Baron was in love with her from the start, even if he didn't know anything about her. The truly interesting part of this story was the relationship between the brothers and I wanted more of that. This took a nosedive towards awful right there at the end with an unexplained deus-ex-machina that wrapped this story up quickly. . It's a shame no one had any explanation for how that worked or how Duke knew what to do. It felt contrived and ridiculous without the explanation.

Finding his treasure

What an incredible story! It fits perfectly with the rest of the series and sets us right up for the next book. I love that Honor is so quick to let go of her misconceptions and that Baron’s main priority is about keeping her safe. I’m really looking forward to the next book. I can’t wait to see what happens with Chase and the dragonet, I hope Duke gets his own HEA.

The thing I like about Mina Carter's books is they are short and sharp. She's able to pack some really decent world building into the few short pages of her books and this one is no exception.

Dragon's Honor is the sixth book in the Paranormal Protection Agency series but also a part of the Roar, Growl & Kiss box set which was recently released. Fortunately, even though this is the sixth book in the series, you do not need to have read all the previous books in order to follow what's happening in this one.

I adore dragon shifter stories so I was excited to get into this one. I loved the parts about Baron and Duke being twin shadow dragon shifters and all the things I learned about their specific breed of dragon. What Baron and Duke can do as dragons and in their dragon shifter forms is super duper cool. (Look at me reduced to the vocabulary of a teenager!)

And of course, I loved Baron as the hero too cos he's growly and dragon-ey.
As for Honor, well, with Honor, I was predisposed to not like her because she was supposed to be a spoiled, rich socialite, except she's not. She's hardworking, resourceful and resilient. She does, however, annoy me a couple of times because she does certain things I was not a fan of. I got rather impatient with her but fortunately this is a short story so I was able to power through it and Honor's less than stellar moments didn't last long.

I'm having a slight gripe at the moment with paranormals set in contemporary times not having the "sex talk" about birth control and protection and this one didn't. I'm not going to jump all over it because this is the sixth book in the series and world building around that might have already taken place in previous books which I do not know about since I've only read the first two books in the series but I have not read book three and four. I generally assume paranormals are immune to sexually transmitted diseases but then there's the pregnancy prevention angle that still needs to be covered. It didn't stop me from enjoying the story overall but I did notice its lack.

Ultimately, this is a fun, quick romp through dragon-land for me. I'm looking forward to the next book which is Duke's story and how he meets his match and his mate.

Roar, Growl & Kiss Anthology

Baron and Duke are orphaned twin shadow dragon shifters who work for the Paranormal Protection Agency. Honor is the daughter of the owner of Croft Industries. They have been assigned to be her bodyguards while trying to see if her father is involved in para slaving. Baron recognizes Honor as his mate so he takes the attacks against her pretty personally.

This was a rare Mina Carter miss for me. I usually love her short sexy stories because they have good characters and fun twists...except for this one. I love when a heroine is tough and can take care of herself but I felt that Honor wasn't smart about it, she was all I'm tough I don't need a man to save me and then has a breakdown when she kills to defend her own life. Settle down if you can't handle it Rambo. My next issue was with the communication...they both decide to give in to their attraction and Baron gives her several opportunities to change her mind but never tells her what he is or what she is to him. Those are important tidbits as far as I'm concerned. And then our heroine eavesdrops and jumps to completely wrong conclusion and then has a temper tantrum, runs away from her protectors despite the huge army of paranormal creatures that just attacked her home.

This is for books 6 and 7, as I read them in the Paranormal Protection Agency: Vol 2 anthology, which is not listed here on goodreads.

This is a continuation of the Paranormal Protection Agency: Volume 1, and I wouldn't recommend reading it if you haven't read that volume, as a whole or the five books included in it individually. Though they contain only a small amount of plot each, together they start a story line that is continued through these two books, included in Volume 2. And though the thread that links them is not very thick, it's enough to make it worth the time and money to read those five books first. All seven together are great, but these two have been my favorite, Duke's story even nudging Baron's out barely for a favorite individual book in the series. Those that know me, know I'm cheap, so for me to say these are worth your time, especially if you're a fan of steamier shifter stories, that's saying a lot! Why are you still reading this? Haven't you purchased the books already? You should be reading THOSE!!

I loved this story of two dragon brothers, Duke and Baron. Baron meets his mate, Honor and how they got together. I would have loved to get of the story of them. Also I don't know if Mina wrote Dukes story. I would like to see that as a book also. As with all short stories, they are never long enough for me. I wanted to get more wrapped up in their life.

Loving Mina Carter's Dragon's Honor. Its a fast, short and fun read. Baron and Honor are mates. She doesn't know that at first. Baron does and in order to save her he will do what he needs. I love dragons. They are very sexy. Love this series.
