I’ve often been told that using Mind Maps to plan, compile, research and write your essays and dissertations, can turn what is traditionally a tedious and stressful task, into something that is a creative, multi-sensory process. Some people have even said that using mind maps to write essays makes the process fun!  Personally, I doubt there’s much that could make essay writing fun, although I must admit, after getting my hands on Inspiration I did start to see the advantages of researching, exploring ideas and creating written work using this method. I also realised that the usefulness of mind mapping isn’t just limited to essay writing. In fact, the only limit to what you can do with mind maps is your own imagination.

In this video, we explore how you can use mind maps to get to grips with big Ideas. We also learn about some of the unique features that Inspiration has hiding under the bonnet. If you think that any of the features talked about in this video may help you organise your thoughts and ideas, or help speed up your workflow, you can download a free trial version of inspiration from here: http://www.inspiration.com/freetrial
