RICHMOND, Va. (Nov. 11, 2013) – CAA Football's Player of the Week honorees for the eleventh week of the 2013 season were announced on Monday. A link to each school's release will be added to the player's name over the course of the day as releases become available.

Offensive Player of the Week: Michael Strauss, Jr., QB, Richmond
Strauss continued his historic season with more career numbers as the Spiders claimed their second-consecutive win on Saturday at Stony Brook. The junior signal caller finished an efficient 28-of-38 for 360 yards and a school-record tying five touchdowns to surpass the 3,000-yard mark this fall and lead Richmond's rally from a 10-point third-quarter deficit on the road. Strauss' effort comes during a season in which he has set or tied single-season program records with 276 completions, 426 attempts, 3,032 passing yards and 20 touchdowns.

Defensive Player of the Week: Jerome Couplin III, Sr., FS, William & Mary
Couplin helped the Tribe's stalwart defense set the tone early when he returned a fumble recovery 51 yards in the opening minutes of the first quarter. The senior captain also totaled six tackles, including four solo, in Saturday's win to lead a defensive unit that limited Delaware to just 10 points and a season-low 207 yards of offense. What's more, William & Mary held the Blue Hens to -35 yards on the ground, which represented the team's fewest rushing yards in school history and the Tribe's fourth-best effort to date.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Travis Hawkins, Sr., KR/DB, Delaware
Hawkins made a quick statement on Saturday, returning the Tribe's opening kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown. The senior's return marked the third-longest in school history and just the second time that a Blue Hen had returned an opening kick for a touchdown. Hawkins, whose score was the second such touchdown of his career, also added four tackles in the loss.

Rookie of the Week: Christophe Mulumba, R-Fr., LB, Maine
Mulumba earns his fourth honor of the season on the heels of yet another standout defensive showing. The redshirt freshman racked up a career-high and league season-best 19 tackles to help Maine hold off UAlbany and improve to a school-record 9-1 start with its 11th-consecutive win over an FCS opponent.
