Thirty and single? Well, getcha ass to the Gathering!

Whitney Wickham is at the darned annual werewolf Gathering all right. Only there's one problem: she doesn't belong there. Her sisters carry the Mark indicating they'll mate an Alpha Pair of wolves, while Whitney does not have that lovely, swirling scar. She's been hauled half way around the world to be stared at, and not-so-covertly sniffed, for no reason. Unfortunately the gorgeous, drool worthy, magic-mojo-wielding Wardens don't know why she's been summoned to the Gathering any more than she does. Which sucks. But at least they're hot.

Emmett Greene and Levy Walters are Wardens--keepers of the law and embodiment of the magic of the werewolves. They can never mate, never marry, and never form a lasting romantic relationship. It's a hard and fast law that keeps their powers pure of outside influence.

Rules are going to be broken.

One look at Whitney, one hint of her scent, and they realize their immovable laws might have to jiggle. She's got luscious curves, a wicked smile, and a mouth that would make a thousand men weep. No matter the rules, their inner wolves will claim her. The only things standing in their way are the Elder Wardens who will do anything... anything... to keep Emmett and Levy from discovering the truth: the laws are wrong. And being with Whitney Wickham is so very, very right.

Holy freakin Awesome!!!!! I love this series and was eagerly awaiting this book!!! Whitney was my favorite from the start, she is sweet and caring with just enough spunk to match her sisters!!

This is the third book in the trilogy, I desperately hope it is not the last!!! There is wiggle room to continue!!! To which I say "Yes, Yes, Oh Gawd, Please, Yes!!!"

I pulled an all-nighter reading this one and am not the least but sorry about the lost sleep!! Really great storytelling and such fabulous humor!!! Many giggle-worthy moments from the sassy sisters!! Love them to pieces!

Whitney is all sweetness and light, ask her she will tell you, but she has a real snarky side as well. When pushed to her limits when is exactly like her older sisters in the attitude department!!

Levy and Emmett are delicious if not a touch on the jerky side at first. But as things play out their reasons are revealed. Once they get their heads straight the sparks seriously fly!!

Such yummy steamy action!! Oh yeah, hot and heavy, with a side of life altering!! Plenty of naughty bits to keep a gal happy!!!

Ms. Kyle came onto my radar with the first book in this series and is skyrocketing to the top of my TBR list!!! I can not wait to see what comes next!! While the major plot points were resolved there are threads that suggest more to come in this series. And that would be absolutely delightful!

(Sep) I gotta say, Celia Kyle packs a punch into a very short story. The third in the Alpha Marked series, this book focuses on Whitney, the third triplet and the only one born w/o the Mark that indicates she's a fated mate for a pair of Alpha wolves. Not sure why she was summoned to the gathering where Alpha pairs sniff out their mate, she's annoyed that no one will give her an answer. Her bits get all tingly when she is around the Wardens - Emmett and Levy. They feel it too but Wardens don't have mates. It's forbidden - or is it?

Usually stories that are so short are meet-boink-love-end. Here, and in the last one, there is a lot of story, way more than just sex. There is humor and deception and sweetness and I really enjoyed it. Glad to see there are 3 more books in this series, as there are deep Lore type questions that need to be answered.

I really liked Whitney"s story. I loved her in Scarlet and Gabriella's books. She was fantastic in her own story. She started out a little intimidated. Whit became strong, powerful, and fearless. Not knowing she had mates fueled the story. Emmett and Levy are definitions of Alphas. Very dominant, protective and intimidating. They are so sweet and loving towards Whitney. This story is full of twists, turns and surprises. Their passion is crazy hot. This story was a great all around read. love. werewolves. betrayal. family. I recommend to all readers of werewolves and or erotic stories. I will continue this series.

3 sisters... twins, 2 that has the mark one that doesn’t. Because of that two of the sisters are treated differently. Whitney grew up knowing that she wont have the chances at the life her sisters will, because she is unmarked. She doesn’t get dual mates and a love life happily ever after. So when all three girls turn 30 years old, they get a magical invite to the “gathering”.
The gathering is for singles wolf and human alike, to see if a mate(s) will be sniffed out.
Of course all three girls buck up against the gathering, but in the previous books you see the marked sisters Scarlett and Gabby are doing wonderful in their new life. This story is the unmated sister.
When the Wardens see Whitney they catch her scent as no other, but of course too busy to look into more. As for Whitney she also finds herself responding to the Wardens presence.
Whitney unmarked and Emmett and Levy Forbidden. Nothing is as it seems of course, when they touch sparks practically jump of the pages.
I loved all three books, this is my favorite. The flow of the story, the interaction of characters both old and new. Whitney's personality just rocked! I wanted to kiss her face. There was some pretty hot scenes mixed with a bit of awe, and danger. The sisters... the wolves, the Ruling Alphas and the Ruling Wardens. Start with the first book!! end with this one. I recommend all 3 of them!! Enjoy

Badass!

What did you like?
This story totally rocked. Was so happy to see Whitney get her mates. Was super losses at the elders and I approve of the beat down they got from her and her mates.

What did you not like?
Nothing I didn't like but, I hope this isn't the end as it sounds like there is a battle in the future that the sisters need to take care of.

Would you recommend this book?
Absolutely, while I loved her sisters, Whitney has always been my favorite. She got such a lot of crap that it's good to see her get what she deserves.

This is the book that I finally found out what happens with the third sister without the mating mark. It was definitely unexpected and interesting how that was resolved but I just kind of found these stories to be not very interesting. I feel like now I can stop the series since I have a resolution for all of the sisters. I don't really know why I continued on with the series other than morbid curiosity. I did not find anything in this series to be particularly romantic or enjoyable though.

I will not be reading this book again.

This is a shapeshifter Menage book, the third book in the Alpha Marked series, it can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend reading the first two books. A short read so I finished it in a couple hours, all three in a little over a day. This book completes the series and Celia Kyle does give you closure... but I need more, please Celia, more.. more! This book does have some very sexual scenes so readers be advised, not for the faint at heart. This time all about Whitney, the sweet one, and she seems to be the "baby" out of the triplets. She has always been treated differently because she doesn't carry the mark for the mating, even though it was something she always wanted. She is a fighter, and when pushed she carries some of the spark her other sisters have, if she can not handle the situation, her sisters sure can. I love the connection the sisters have. And I appreciate how she is willing to stand up for what she believes in.

This story continues where Gabrielle leaves off, they are still at the werewolves gathering. Only this time its is about 30 year old, Whitney Wickham, the only one of the triplets that does not carry the mark. But she is the only one of the three whom actually longed to be part of the mating ceremony. She had accepted long ago that it was something that would never be, only to be forced to the gathering. She just needs answers and the wardens are called in, but they can not understand as to why she was summoned. She is beyond mad, but at least they are easy on the eyes. drool.

Emmett Greene and Levy Walters are wardens, they are magical werewolves whom enforce and keep the law. They are the only werewolves whom may never mate, they will never be allowed to have a wife. Their law states a bond with a woman will disrupt their balance of power.

Once Emmett and Jeff see Whitney with her voluptuous curves, catch her tantalizing scent, well their inner wolves decide some rules are meant to be broken. The obstacle now is the elder wardens, whom will do anything to keep the truth from being revealed. The laws are based on lies, so Emmet and Jeff are changing the laws starting with Whitney Wickham.

some of my favorite passages:

"She had to recall she was sweetness and light and everything bright."
"Sniff! Mark Tingles! Mate!"
"There would be no "woo hoo, cue the rice tossing and tie a few cans to the bumper of their car" for Whitney Wickham. She wasn't bitter. Not much, anyway."
"It was like bits and pieces or her were Marked while the rest wasn't. The "want to" was there but the "screw you, it will never happen" was a little to strong."
"Look furball. I am the Ruling Alpha Mate's sister and--"
"Callum, she pulled the Kicka** (some might find the author's word choice offending.) Sister Card." Learn it, live it, love it, and call it yours because God and everyone takes it."
"Really? You're giving him workout advise? When was the last time you actually did anything other than walk to the elevator?"
"Great. Its about time they took off their a**-hats." (some might find the author's word choice offending.)
"In the human world, she'd be considered overweight. In theirs, she was perfect. Every inch of her made for him, for them."
"Oh, bite me."
"If you're about to say "honor", stuff it. Getting sniffed, patted on the a**, (some might find the author's word choice offending.) bitten, and then hauled to God know here without a say in the matter isn't an honor."
"As soon as she was done dying, she was so gonna open a can of whoop-a**(some might find the author's word choice offending.)on those wolves."
"Like a fluffy ninja, her sister wiggled and twisted her way from between her men, similar to what Whitney has done."
"Huh?"She wasn't opening her eyes. If she kept them shut she was invisible. Period."
"She really wanted to give him the middle finger and scream a great big "duh"."
"Wait now, let's slow your roll right there...."
"Hell, even her toes curled and they definitely hadn't ever happened before."
"We'll live life." her gaze turned to them, "share our love, and make plans to take conquer the world over ice cream."

Whitney

Whitney never had the mark to be mated to the Alphas. Then why was she at the Gathering where mates were matched ? The magical Wardon Alphas were hot and called to her. Would her dream come true???

There is so much I can say about Celia Kyle’s Alpha Marked series, they are fun, sexy, hilarious, sweet, hot, intense and quick reads. I love every description except the last one, I would have loved for the books to be longer mainly because I just don’t want the books to end. I laugh so hard in every book, The Whicham sisters is n endless supply of entertainment for me. The girls are seriously strong female characters, they are quirky, fun, sassy, big-mouthed swearing, human who never cease to amaze me with the crap they can come up with.

Whitney’s story is different than her sisters, while Scarlett and Gabriella have the a scar that ‘marks’ them as potential Alpha Mates, them getting invited to The Gathering (the speed-dating for werewolves) makes sense but Whitney gets an invitation too. She shouldn't have gotten one since she is human.

So it is understandable that Whithney wants to complain to the Alpha Wardens about this mistake. Except when she meets them she gets the tingly feeling you’re suppose to get when you meet your alpha mates. Emmett and Levy (the Alpha Wardens) are baffled on how Whitney could possibly be their mate, the laws state clearly that they are not suppose to have one. Some secrets get uncovered and shit really hits the fan in this book.

I really liked the chemistry between Whitney, Emmett and Levy, and their ‘get-to-know-you’ scenes, those were really sweet and what really got me laughing is how Whitney, who is suppose to be – and I quote in her own words;

“..She was not a violent person. She had to recall she was sweetness and light and everything bright.”

that really got me laughing since later on in the book she is this fiery ball of anger and violence and a bit of growling which I blame on Emmett and Levy.

I NEED more. I hope there is more to come from the Whicham sisters since the ending left a lot of wriggle room and unfinished business that has yet to be resolved. I really enjoyed reading this series, it always left me in happy and satisfied mood.

WHITNEY is the third instalment in Celia Kyle’s erotic, paranormal Alpha Marked novella series focusing on fraternal triplets-Scarlet, Gabrielle and Whitney-potential mates to alpha pairs. This is an erotic series with M/M/F sexual situations and is therefore recommended for 18+ years.

The premise of the novella length storylines is the festival of The Gathering- a speed dating (of sorts) where marked human females (who have not been claimed by their thirtieth birthday) are commanded to present themselves as potential mates for Alpha pairs. This is Whitney’s story and all three storylines take place over one weekend.

The premise follows Whitney –unmarked and therefore not a potential mate for the alpha pairs- but for some unexplained reason her presence has been commanded by the magical ruling Wardens. Hoping to get an explanation as to why she has been invited, Whitney will come face to face with the two men who would eventually become her mates.

The storyline has a bit of a twist from the previous two novellas. Throughout the history of the shifters, ruling Wardens have not been allowed to mate and are therefore exempt from the Gathering but on this particular weekend, Emmett and Levy are pulled towards the remaining and unmarked Wickham triplet and if their internal wolf is correct-this woman is their mate. But what ensues is a magical minefield where the ruling elders will take aim at Whitney to ensure the ruling Wardens never take a mate.

Celia Kyle has written another fast paced, action filled storyline where the attraction between potential mates is instant, sexual and animalistic. There is no denying that these three are meant for one another and in completing the mating ritual they will open the possibility for ruling Wardens everywhere to find their own mates without threat of death or incarceration.

If you like a paranormal storyline of action, sexual heat and a little bit on the kinky side, Celia Kyle’s Alpha Marked series is for you.

I cannot say enough how much I love this series. Author Celia Kyle just keeps bringing it. And this book was my favorite so far. Whitney is normally the quiet and reserved one of the three girls until the gathering pisses her off!

Whitney finally gets to see the annoying arrogant Warden Alpha’s and ask them what the hay is up with them summoning her to the gathering. It is a mistake that she was summoned. She does not have a darn mark.

The Warden boys are Alpha badasses. They have magic mixed in to uphold the laws. But what all three didn’t realize is that the Warden can mate and she is there’s.

Whitney as she puts it has been turned into a damn glow stick! I loved how she kept referencing to her new acquired power of awesome. What she did not realize is that it put a deadly price on her head.

When her boys wake and this girl is not in their room I thought the hotel was going to crumble. Never piss off an Alpha wolf with powers. It was scary.

“Can you tell them I am fine?” She echoed his volume. The man gave her a deadpan look. Ass. “Howl at them or something. Don’t you have a werewolf bat-signal or something?” His expression didn’t change did change. “Seriously, you got nothing?”

Now let’s talk about the boys. Emmett Green is hot, gruff, and very possessive of his girl. He loved saying “Mine!” From the moment she tells him to bite her when she was pissed off he took her up on the offer. I was in stiches. This man is HOT!

Levy Walters is the more reserved as the two. He is sexy, sweet, and only states the facts until Whitney throws him for a tailspin. He doesn’t know what to do when he realizes that everything he’s known is a lie and that Whitney is his mate. All he knows is he will die protecting his girl.

Ha! This was my favorite one...
Whitney is equal parts funny and sassy. I love it!!!

Whitney is Celia Kyle's third and maybe (hopefully not) final installment in the ALPHA MARKED series. To be honest, I was just as in love with this book, as I was with the last two.

Whitney is a little different from her sisters Scarlet and Gabriella, in one distinctive department - she has no Alpha Mate Mark. This begs the question of Why the hell was she mandated to attend THE GATHERING? Its a question Whitney plans to have answered by none other than The Ruling Wardens themselves... Levy and Emmett and boy does it get funny, irritating and then hot and heavy between these three.

Confronting said Wardens isn't easy, especially when whitney starts feeling things she should for this ruling pair. Emmett and Levy are just as confused about the feelings Whitney brings out of them, but there are rules in place, that state that the Ruling Warden's don't mate...EVER. But it becomes perfectly clear to them all that something is not right, and answers were needed.

I have to say I liked the way this story played out. I liked the action and the protectiveness that was shown. The overwhelming chemistry between Whitney, Levy and Emmett is explosive at best and pretty much uncontrollable.

There was so much to love about this book and I have to say, it was my favorite of the three. Whitney's take no $#!+ attitude at times is amazingly funny, coupled with the things she tends to think.

I didn't want to put any spoilers which is why I wrote it this way.

BOOK PAGES AND DRIPPING INK give Celia Kyle's WHITNEY 5 Black Roses.

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Whitney Wickham is the youngest of a set of triplets. Her two sisters grew up Marked-- knowing that one day each of them would be mated with a pair of Alpha Wolves. Whitney never had a Mark, so while her sisters were homeschooled and told fairy tales involving one princess and her two princes, Whitney attended public school and read Dick and Jane books. Despite their differences, as adults Whitney and her sisters enjoy a close relationship bound together by humor and love. At thirty, Whitney is confused as to why she's been summoned to The Gathering, basically a werewolf version of Love Connection where Marked women find their mated pairs. Enter Emmett and Levy, two extra special wolves, and everything starts to make a hot and smexy kind of sense.

I thought I was fairly well-versed in the various genres of romance, but I have to confess I had to look up the acronym BBW. Then I realized I've read many books that fall into this category without knowing there is a formal label for such protagonists. Whitney is a Big Beautiful Woman, and I love it. People come in all shapes and sizes, and we're all deserving of love-- so our romance novels and smut should reflect that. Whitney is sassy and sexy and the chemistry between her and her two wolves is off the charts hot. Just personal preference, threesome stories are not my thing, but Ms. Kyle won me over with her humorous narrative and steamy, fast-paced flow. Whitney: Alpha Marked is a quick read at 78 pages, perfect for when you need a fast, lighthearted diversion. Four stars!

I Received this book in exchange for an honest and fair review.

Whitney is the third triplet in this trilogy. She is used to being the odd one out as she was the only one of the three that wasn't alpha marked at birth. Used to being told she wasn't like her sisters, no one was more surprised then she when she received the summons to attend the Gathering with her sisters. Determined to let the two ever so sexy Wardens hear her out she storms in on them. Instant lust, attraction and can it be love? Throw in some good old fashioned action and ass kicking and you have a fantastic read!

So let me say this again in case I wasn't clear enough in my review of Gabriella. I LOVE the fact that these woman are REAL woman. They have curves. Like real curves - not those fake size 10 curves that any woman over size 10 knows really aint curves at all.

Okay - rant done. Back to the book.

Whitney is (just like her sisters) curvy (in case you missed it), sassy and oh so spunky. She stands up for herself like very few mc's out there do. I mean she stormed into a room to sass the two strongest alpha's in North America. That has got to tell you something. And her two men do not disappoint either. They live up to the name of alpha in every way possible. Protective and very caring to the one they care for yet at the same time extremely fierce.

I would have loved to read more - like books more on all three couples but I will settle for visiting my new friends again at some point.

The Wickham triplets all received a summons to attend a Gathering where werewolf alpha pairs found their mates. Two of the sisters were "marked", but Whitney was not. In the first two books, Whitney's sisters found their mates while Whitney was still trying to figure out why she was summoned. Whitney wanted Alpha mates, but it wasn't destined because she wasn't marked like her sisters. But wait and see what happens when she meets up with the Wardens-the alpha magic wielding pair....they are not allowed to fall in love and mate per their laws....finally Whitney has her story and it rocks!!!
I absolutely LOVE this series! The Wickham sisters crack me up with all of their hilariously witty, brassy comments. And their Alphas-Holy HOT HOT HOT!!!

Great read if...you like PNR, short reads, sexy reads, MFM (as in no man on man touching), humor, insta love and an HEA.

Side Note: Not gonna lie. Wasn't a fan of Whit in the other books. She felt whiny and wet mop like, but when she's front in center in her own book she quickly stole her own place in my heart. She was snarky and sassy and sexy and most importantly VERY SPECIAL in her own right. My favorite scene involved her sneaking away and the very ANGRY alpha moment that followed, lol. This was a great last for these sisters and I am so excited to move onto book 4.

This book is book three in the alpha marked series. This story is short, fast paced and action packed. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I have been eager to read Whitney’s story since she was introduced in book one and was mentioned in book two.
The chemistry between Whitney, Levy and Emmett was clear to see. I liked them as a trio. I loved that Whitney finally found her powers/marks. She matched her men perfectly.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an action packed read. I cannot wait to read more books in this series.

Thank the book gods we finally have a winner! The first 2 books were a little annoying to get through, but the third was the best and most intriguing yet.

The plot was fascinating, Whitney was the coolest sister by far. The story is starting to get better and I hope beyond hope that this momentum will continue.

I’ve been listening to the audiobook and the same narrator for the first 2 is the same for the third. But less aggravating. May it’s the way she tried to read Scarlet and Gabby as their own individuals, but grrr arg! Annoying!

#3 best so far!

Funniest Ménage Stories Ever!

These books are really really funny! The women are strong and snarky and totally kick ass! Plus you get the alpha yumminess of a pair of wolves for each gal. Sure, things get squishy and a bit bloody, plus the amazing magical moments, but it all comes together in an amazing series of standalone books that are very entertaining.

Kyle, Celia; WHITNEY [Alpha Marked, #3]
Ebook; genre: {paranormal romance}

General Synopsis:
Fraternal triplets Scarlet, Gabriella and Whitney Wickham have reached the age of 30. Unmarried. Sadly, this means they must make their way to The Gathering, where they meet possible mates in an Alpha pairing. As Scarlet puts it, "basically, werewolf speed dating." First, Scarlet found her mates. Then, Gabriella did. But what about Whitney? She's not even suppose to be at "The Gathering," after all, she isn't even Marked. And that's just what she is going to tell the Ruling Wardens Emmet & Levy (with air quotes no less), that is when she gets the chance. . . Warning: This book does contain M/F/M sex

Characters/fu-bo list:

Previous Books
Scarlet, Keller & Maddon - Scarlet
Gabriella, Berke & Jack - Gabriella

Personal Opinion:
I have to be honest, this part of my review was also set for Scarlet, but I made a small addition.

I actually read this book a while ago. I am a big fan of Celia Kyle (to the point where she has her own shelf on my Kindle ✌(-‿-)✌). But here's the thing, I was looking for titles to fill out a reading challenge I am doing and one of the things I looked for was books I have read, but have neglected to review. It's like two birds one stone. Problem was, on goodreads, it listed a number of Celia Kyle's as unread, so I was pretty shocked and decided NOW, I HAD to read these books again & not just for the challenge.

As I mentioned in the general synopsis, this book features a ménage à trois, a romance between M/F/M. I know some readers are hesitant to read this type of book, so that is why I put that under the synopsis, even though I think from the cover alone, it is pretty obvious.

The story itself is very short, and is a very quick read. That being said, I would like to say there is more to the story than just sex, but it should also be noted for the story line to progress, you need to read the remainder of the books in the series, since to be it is one big whole. This will also grow to include Rebecca, Lorelei & Paisley.

Back when I first read this series, Ms. Kyle had not released the next 3 in the series, and I was a little let down at how it ended. Mainly because I felt the world of the "Alpha Marked" was up in the air, as we finally saw the big bad exposed, but then, Ms. Kyle wrote about Scarlet, Gabriella & Whitney's cousins being called to "The Gathering," and I knew she hadn't let me down. So, that being said, off I go to read Rebecca. Ja.

This third book in the Alpha Marked series is the final story of the Wickham sisters, Whitney. Although it’s not the last book in the series. Whitney has felt left out all of her life because she doesn’t have the mark for alpha mating. Turns out, she is so much more. Her and her mates, who are the ruling wardens; Levy and Emmett have to negotiate this new world where they have more questions than answers.. They recognize her as their mate except there’s a few problems; (1) she doesn’t bear the mark and (2) Wardens are not allowed to mate. Ever. There’s some bad juju associated with it.

I did like this book the best in the series, so far. But I still cannot give it a higher rating because the world building and writing are subpar. However, the author has still managed to keep my attention enough that I want to continue with the next book. There is a lot of dialog that seems pretty juvenile to me, rather than witty or funny.

I would still recommend this series, but with the caveat that there are better series out there.

I would still recommend this series, but with the caveat that there are better series out there.

Whitney is the last of the Whickham triplets and she doesn't have a mark. She was born without one and still got an invitation for the Gathering. She couldn't ignore the summon so she went with her sisters. Scarlet got mated on Friday, Gabriella on Saturday and it was Sunday, the last day and nobody could explain why Whitney was invited if she didn't have a mark.

Emmett and Levy are the most powerful Wardens. They are at the Gathering because it's their duty, besides, Wardens don't have fated mates. Oh, they are so wrong but it all ends well.

This book was full of intrigue, drama, secrets coming to light, and badassery.

I listened to this on Audible Escape and Dana Lane did a fantastic job narrating this book. My only problem was Scarlet voice, again. Too deep.
