Larry Taylor (at left in photo) congratulates his fellow Co-Chair, Jim Beckett, after they were selected, by the Conservation Dinner Committee, to be Co-Chairs of the 29th Conservation Dinner. The Dinner Committee announced the charitable auction gala is to be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018. The two volunteers said they were honoured to be chosen to Co-Chair the committee that is supporting a community effort that has raised more than $1.1 million, over almost three decades, for conservation projects and improvements in local communities. The auction is not until April of 2018 but the community committee has already started to meet to plan another successful event. The Committee invites donors to donate to the charity auction and tickets are expected to be available for purchase as early as December.
