4.5 heartfelt stars

We meet Gracie who has been moved around all her life due to her father's military career. She moves to a small town where she meets Amos. She soon discovers they are moving again but they both promise to stay in touch. They do stay in touch but he goes away to the service. She meets up with him again on a visit back but not knowing that would be her last time to see him.

She's my forever Amos gifted me. It's our gravity that keeps us centered no matter how painful it is.

Years later she moves back to her first loves home town with her big secret where she meets police officer Cub who holds secrets of his own.

Well having read the prior book Royal Atlas, I knew what was coming so I kept my box of tissues handy. (No worries this one can be a stand alone but you get the more emotions with reading book 1 )
Cub and Gracie's story was so heartwarming. I absolutely loved Cub.
I'm looking forward to Hart's story next.

Holly emotional book! Gravity is sort of a second chance at finding true love journey for the heroine. Gracie was dealt a shitty card. She fell hard for her high school sweetheart Amos but Gracie’s father was a military man therefore they were moving around a lot. The love birds were ripped apart but Gracie and Amos kept their love alive even with the distance apart. Until strategy strikes… Gracie lost it all but Amos did leave a piece of him behind. Gracie started a new life at Amos’s home town with her heart and sunshine Juliette. I love Juliette – she is full of life and has her father vibrant personality. The cussing was bothering just a bit but it’s all part of her personality / character. Soon after moving to town Gracie met Cub. Cub storms into Gracie’s life with his full alpha protective force, looking after Gracie and Juliette. Cub is a sexy cop with a little girl Izzy the same age as Juliette. The two girls became BFFs – so were the parents :). There is a twist though that I was trying to work out from the beginning but couldn’t guess – that’s was a huge surprise and it’s beautiful. Can Gracie find room in her heart for a second love?

Gravity is heart-wrenching, emotional, beautiful story of love, loss, friendship and second chances. Sometimes, in the midst of tragedy you find a light and you need to hold on, keep believing, taking chances. Everything happens for a reason and sometimes we are lucky enough for find a new beautiful life.

This was a fast read, have tissues handy. Told mostly in Gracie POV and a few chapters in Cub POV. I enjoyed the author’s writing, flow nicely; the story is intriguing and will keep you turning the page until the end.

WARNING: YOU MUST READ ROYAL ATLAS BEFORE THIS BOOK!

4.5 to 5 Stars

Okay, first off, I love this cover just as much as I loved the cover of Royal Atlas!

Secondly, I did not realize when I started reading this book it was going to take us back to the early years of Amos (Molly's brother from Royal Atlas).  So, as I was reading, my anxiety was rising because I knew what was coming and I knew my heart was going to break again over it.  But, I love Amos!  He is such a loveable, funny, caring man.....I couldn't get enough of his antics and loved seeing him at his best!

This is the story of Gracie's road to recovery....and I just love this entire storyline.  I don't want to go into too many details to avoid spoilers.

Special, special shout out to Juliette.......I have no words, but this little character had me giggling and grinning like an idiot!  Loved her and she pretty much made the book for me!!!

Okay, bring on Hart's story next......he deserves a happy ending too!

Arc kindly provided by the author for an honest review.

“It’s our gravity that keeps us centered no matter how painful it is.”

WOW WOW WOW! Gravity was an amazing read and one I am not going to forget anytime soon. The story was poignant and beautiful.

I wish I could express how much I felt while I read Gravity- it is one of those rare books that I want to give all the stars to.
Gracie and Cub both had to deal with loss and love. Gracie’s past has changed her , changed her opinion on love and life.

“I want to try. I want us.”

Love, loss and second chances are what made this story such a roll coaster of emotions.
Some passages were so overwhelming that I couldn’t breathe. HJB writing was flawless.

“You all knew him and I didn’t. I just want him in my heart and not on their wall.”
Overall, this book made me cry, ugly cry, feel and fall in love.

I quickly finished this book 2! I gave book 1 -5 stars-, but this one will come in at 4. I enjoyed the story between Cub and Gracie, but Guy and Molly in book 1 just had that spark for me that this one didn't have - still loving the series and how the extended family was finally incorporated!!

As a go in blind kind of reader -This was very interesting for me to read!! I don't read too much into a storyline. When I finished book 1, Royal Atlas, I was aware of what happens to Molly's brother Amos, I also knew that Molly went on to have a little boy whom she named Amos. So when I started this one I was a little confused if this was moving on in time with son Amos' love story or going back in time with brother Amos!?!? So, it was the brother, HA! And it was a sad and sweet story of falling in love and doing it all over again. I would have loved it to be longer and not having to be so insta - but still sweet and I shed a few tears. And now I will go open up book 3, bring on Hart!!

I liked the beginning of this book.
When I realized the turn it was
taking I decided to DNF. NOT
because it wasn't good. Because
up until I DNF'd it- it was.
But I always like the first
guy in the book. I don't like
to switch up in the middle
or have to redirect how I feel
about a character. This may not
make sense, but I don't want
to spoil this for those waiting
to read it. I also didn't realize
going into this book that the
characters had been in a previous
book. I think this is just a case
of it wasn't the book-it was me!!

LEEANN'S REVIEW

Romance at its best! HJ Bellus has once again written a story that is truly captivating from start to finish.
Because I had already read Royal Atlas, I knew what happened to Amos an I seriously was freaking out that she was going to go down the road of bringing him back to life or some whacked out freaky thing like that.. I was actually cringing at the thought of it! LOL I should have known better, Ms Bellus would do no such thing. Instead she quietly ripped my heart out and then glued it back to Romance at its best! HJ Bellus has once again written a story that is truly captivating from start to finish.

I was actually cringing at the thought of it! LOL I should have known better, Ms Bellus would do no such thing. Instead she quietly ripped my heart out and then glued it back together piece by piece by creating a romance story that will stand the test of time.
Gracie has been to hell and back. Losing the love of her life at such a young age to the bitch that is war. She honestly believes Amos was it for her and that she will never ever love again. She feels there is not enough room in her heart to let anyone elses love in. Then she meets Cub Stent.
She has no clue just how close their connection is. She falls hard and fast for him & he for her.
In true HJ Bellus style though, the road to HEA is not an easy one and Gracie and Cub's is no different.
Be prepared to travel their journey with them. It if full of steamy sexy times, lots of laugh out loud moments and of course lots of angst and heartbreak. But don't despair. At the end of the rainbow is their pot of gold! The love these two have for each other is amazing and so strong.
The main characters are nothing short of amazing & the secondary characters are such a big part of the story and almost steal the show at times but Ms Bellus reigns them in at the appropriate times and showcases the love between Gracie & Cub at its best!
This author deserves every 5+ star review she gets for this book!

FLAVIA'S REVIEW

I don't think I have read any of this authors books before, so this was a first for me. And I have to say that I loved it from beginning to end.

Amos was Gracie's first love. She has moved around a lot as her father was in the military so she didn't make friends easy as she learned that when you a army brat you can't have best friends. So when she moved to another new town she met Amos and he became her everything. He was funny, sweet, sexy adorable and so much more.
And it wasn't long before they fell in love and he was her fist love. But then inevitably she had to move again. Broke her heart, but they kept in touch and when they graduated, Amos joined the army. Which she wasn't happy about but not too long and they would be together living out their happily ever after...

But nothing is ever this easy is it. And this book takes us on the journey of Amos and Gracie, how happy they were but also about tragedy and how things doesn't always go as plan.
But also that with all the pain that you go through there is also a lot of good and also that maybe you don't just get one love in your life, that maybe after all the pain you have gone through that there is someone right there with you going through what you have gone through (not exactly the same) and maybe you two can find out what Happily Ever After means!

This book was filled with lots of love, passion, heartbreak and so much love and so many funny parts as well.
Awesome Amazing story, finished in one read with some tissues. Definitely added as a favorite, you wont be sorry you bought this one.

OMG!! The tears are still flowing! This story will pull you in and not let go. I had goose bumps while reading this book. I loved Amos' character in Royal Atlas and was very excited to get more of him. His story tragically ends and allows another to be set in motion. Gracie and Juliette had me in love in no time flat. Add in Cub and Izzy and I was a goner! The relationship that develops between Gracie and Cub is pure magic. This story starts off happy and filled with hopes and dreams. The middle is tragic and heartbreaking. The ending proves that you don't have to settle for one dream. So much love for this book and this series! Can't wait to see what happens next!

"It's going to hurt just like any love story. There's always pain mixed in with the beautiful moments. It's what makes the cycle of love so amazing and priceless."

Grab a box of tissues for this one!!

Fiding out that HJ Bellus was going to tell Amos' story after Royal Atlas made me so happy! I knew I was in for a roller coaster of emotions, but I went in already knowing how much I would love it.

Amos was the first love of Gracie. She lived and breathed everything that he was. But life isn't always what you plan. Sometimes within the pain, you find the strength to carry on. Gracie is the epitome of that!

"What are we doing?"
"Learning to live and love again."

Cub Stent. This man holds my heart so tight! The things he's went through within his life is nothing compared to what happens when he comes face to face with Gracie.

Both of these two have went through love and loss, and have continued to live and breathe. They lean on each other during the worst of times, finding comfort in knowing that they are not alone anymore.

I can not tell you how many times this story hit me straight in the feels. Each page reflected in my eyes as the emotions ran down my cheeks. You could FEEL IT!! HJ Bellus has that power!

"I'm certain we have been brought together for one reason..."

I haven't been able to get this story out of my head for the past few days. Gracie and Cub have weaved themselves into my brain, and have made a home.

I feel that this was a book made of two stories. Gracie being the main star of each.
The first is her learning what love is, and experiencing it for the first time.
The second is her finding her forever love, and learning to finally live.

Wonderful read!!! I can't wait for the next story within this series!!! <3

If you have a box of tissues, I highly recommend you grab it and keep it handy before you begin reading. You WILL cry. It doesn't matter what kind of reader you are (a crier or non-crier), this book will have your emotions running wild.

Having read Royal Atlas prior to Gravity, I KNEW what was going to happen, so I TRIED (and failed miserably) to not connect with a certain character. I tried reading as fast as I could, so I wouldn't feel the devastation as badly as I felt it in Royal Atlas, but man, did I FAIL at this. I sobbed. My heart was once again shattered...

But, with a good heartbreak comes an epic second chance love story.

Cub and Gracie's story was all-kinds of heartwarming! I was absolutely smitten by Cub Stent. Nothing sexier than a single father and holy hotness, that man was SEXY. Throughout the book, we were taken on an emotional journey full of ups and downs and even a few twists I did NOT see coming at all.

From heartbreaking moments to funny and even sexy times, this book had a little bit of everything! A page-turner through and through and a book a highly recommend you pick up!

** NOTE: If you're wondering, Gravity starts during the high school years and then it runs parallel to the Royal Atlas timeline for a while. Then, we're taken a few years into the "future" which would be present time. So in essence, you don't absolutely NEED to read Royal Atlas before to fully devour Gravity.

Freaking HJ Bellus does it again! This is another one of those reads that will have you in a book hangover for days!

"Just relax . It's going to hurt just like any love story. There's always pain mixed in with the beautiful moments. It's what makes the cycle of love so amazing and priceless."

The tingles, the goosebumps, the chills and more! This is a love story that will have you saying WTF?!?! then become utterly speechless! This one hurt (more than one occasion) and is one ride that will never be forgotten. Be prepared for the ugly & sweet emotions to squeeze your heart into pieces. Just when I thought I knew (or was anticipating) what was going to happen the author screws up my mind even more. Nothing could have prepared me for all the heart filled moments and twists that the author throws at you.

"It's in moments like these I realize all the heartache was worth it. The pain and scars have sculpted the perfect story."

The journey of this story is best and worth the experience of being surprise. I will say to take this read and just feel and be one with the characters. It was deep and soul shattering to the point of no return.

"It's in moments like these I realize all the heartache was worth it. The pain and scars have sculpted the perfect story."

HJ Bellys truly sums up my thoughts with two lines from this book.

I knew this book was going to break me going in but it's the pieces that are put back together & make me whole again that truly are worth all the tears I so hate to shed.

This is a phenomenal read, a must read!!!

Gracie was Amos Marshall's one true love but their love story is cut tragically short, but Amos leaves, Gracie with one thing, the only thing that allows her to go on, their daughter. However, no one from Amos's family knew about his legacy. Now Gracie has a choice to make, a choice that has life changing consequences.

Take a chance on book #2 in this series, it's worth the tears!!!

A Wonderful Read!!!!

I am now a bona fide fan of this author. This is the third book I've read by her and they all evoke the same emotion. Laughter, shock, sadness, perseverance and love. This is Cub, Gracie and Amos' story.

We have already met Gracie and Amos in Finding Atlas, and even though their love story ended in tragedy; it also shows the will of the human spirit to survive. Cub and Gracie's story shows perseverance and a strong desire to find their HEA. It will tug at your heartstrings but definitely worth reading.

Phew! January feels like the month of firsts. I've picked up books by so many authors for the first time and HJ Bellus definitely belongs in this category.

First thing first, it is advised that you read Royal Atlas before picking up Gravity . Another thing... I am a rule breaker so I didn't do what was advised. LOL! But rest assured, if you do pick up Gravity before Royal Atlas , that is completely okay since this book can stand alone and I didn't find anything or any situation in the story that left me disconnected from certain parts of the book because I didn't read it in order.

HJ Bellus has written a story that is utterly heartbreaking and captivating at the same time. She literally ripped my heart out one page at a time and then managed to piece it back again but not without leaving the scars behind.

descriptionYour first love is nothing to joke about. It’s powerful, overwhelming, and something that haunts you forever. When your first love is severed, you lose a piece of your soul. Your world shatters.

These lines perfectly describe what you are going to get. Gracie and Amos loved each other through high school and adulthood separated miles apart with Amos at war and Gracie at home, waiting. The conditions weren't ideal, but they made it work because their love was worth it. It was any other day for Gracie but that same old day became a day she wouldn't forget. The day where she was told that the love of her life, the father to their unborn child was killed in the line of duty.

I swear, from this point on the tears didn't stop for a minute.
And then she met Cub Stent.

descriptionCub Stent storms into my life piecing together my secret. He fills dark mysterious holes that have been vacant for years. Does my heart have room for a second love?

Gracie on meeting Cub had no clue just how close they were to each other and they fall had and fast for each other. Through this journey, you see insta-love, see both, Cub and Gracie, fighting their demons. You see them fighting to reach their happy ever after. You see angst. Loads of angst and heartbreak and moments that just make you laugh out loud.

Do they get the Happy Ever After they deserve? Yes. But not without going through a lot of trials and tribulations and they manage to come out as winners having each other by their side.

There is not one character who didn't fit into the story. Every single character had a purpose in supporting not only Gracie but supporting her relationship with Cub as well.
Be ready to ugly cry and keep tissues in handy because you are going to need it.

Holy wow!!! This book!!! I loved Royal Atlas and thought nothing could top it. Boy was I wrong. Just I'm still reeling!!! I'm going to try and make this as spoiler free as possible so bear with me.

So reading Royal Atlas I knew what was going to happen to Amos. I was dreading getting to that part of the story especially after seeing him with sweet Gracie. It broke me as much as it did her. Amos was her knight, always there to stick up for her, just to be there for her, and to own her heart and soul and her him. It was gut wrenching. But what life has in store for Gracie makes it seem a little bit better. Because you see Amos had a special surprise for Gracie, one that would start her on the adventure of a lifetime. A truly great and beautiful gift.

So enough about this amazing gift. Along with Gracie's gift she meets a man named Cub. A guy who I loved from the beginning and knew was the guy for our girl Gracie. But I knew he also had some secrets. I had an idea of what they were and I was right and it makes these two and their relationship so much more. This was a truly special love story.

Life is about second chances. Second chances at love, at friendship, at family, and at forever. There is heartache but there is also how you move on from that heartache and take life as it comes. Cub and Gracie do just that with each other and form one of the most perfect love stories. Even f it did start from heartache. A heartache I'd never change because it's what shapes these two amazing characters and their story. I just ahh, I love them! Fiercely!

Gooood Gawd!!!! I freaking loved this book. This is Amos and Gracie's story. You sooo need to read Atlas first before moving onto this book.

I just loved Amos and his cray cray self!! He would make me laugh my ass off while reading his one liners.

"You are so far from plain that you're in a different universe."
If roses are red and violets are blue, then Gracie not even momma's fried chicken is as sexy as you."

I would just sit there while reading... Where in the heck does HJ Bellus come up with this stuff?? lmao I just love her writing style. She can take you to smoldering hawt stuff to break your heart and then help you pick up the pieces and make you love...LOVE her characters. I do have to say that really, they will have a special place in my heart forever. I will never forget this series. I just loved it!!

I gave this book 5 fan-dam-tastic Stars!!! Pick it up and fall in love with Amos and Gracie.

When you experience a love like Amos, is there ever a chance to experience it again?......Amos loved Gracie with all that he was and made a promise to love her forever and he did in his own special way, but somtimes life, gravity has other plans, a pull so strong you can't let go. Cub was pulled by that gravity, but will Gracie hold lo g enough to feel it's power? I absolutely loved this book, everything about it. the characters, the love, the emotions, the laughter, just all of it. definitely a 5 star read.

Another Bittersweet Read--CONTAINS SPOILERS

This book gives us another look at Amos Marshall. In Royal Atlas, we see Amos as the "mean" older brother to Molly... that is unless some jerk dared to mess with his baby sister...then Amos was the protective big brother.

In this book, we get to see so much more of Amos. Instead of being annoyed with him, I think I fell in love with him. Watching him fall in love with Gracie King was so sweet.

If you read Royal Atlas, then you know what happens..if you have not and you plan to, a spoiler follows: Amos' unit comes upon an IED. Amos, who is about to become a father, is killed in action. I cried when I read it the first time in Royal Atlas...it was excruciatingly heartbreaking to relive it through the eyes of pregnant Gracie.

Gracie's second chance at happiness with Cub Stent is full of as much pain as there is love between them.

This book is sweet, romantic and heartbreaking. It's a good read. It got 4 stars instead of 5 because of all of the typos and inconsistencies..

Gravity is book 2 in the Royal Love series. I loved it every bit as much as the first book. I always love series that manage to truly intertwine the characters into each book vs just mentioning them. It was like visiting old friends. Gracie’s story is filled with angst if you are looking for that in a book. Her past life and new life collide in a unique way. There is a lot for Gracie and Cub to work through? Again, each character is well developed and I couldn’t help but care about them.
I can’t wait to read the third book in the series!

Shattered

I don't have words for how many times this story made me cry. Just absolute heart break. The love that Gracie has for Amos is real and true and he is so easy to love. When the heart break happens and Gracie is left with her forever gift from Amos, we see her love in a different way. Enter Officer Cub Stent and his sweet, frizzy Izzy. We get to see them fall in love and get shattered in a different way. Amazing, heart wrenching, heart warming story.

The beginning was nice with the story of Amos and Gracie. But it went south after. The flow of Garcie and Cub story was weird. I mean they meet, talk 2-3 times then there is a time jump of a few months and Cub is already saying he really likes Gracie. And I'm like when did that happened? I didn't feel their love. And it was predictable with Mae's connection and also who Cub was to Amos.

I read in diagonal, almost DNF. Wasn't for me
