Painting Playful Playgrounds in Beach Haven - Morning
Beach Haven School, located only two blocks from the ocean and three blocks from the bay on Long Beach Island, was flooded during Hurricane Sandy and was forced to close its doors. The school lost all of its classroom and office equipment on the first floor, which has been entirely gutted. The school has since reopened and serves 74 students in grades Pre-K-6.
Volunteers are needed to paint line games on the school blacktop, perform general landscaping, and paint the school’s exterior fence
