PERRY, Okla. – A deadly accident has turned into a roundup for immigration and customs enforcement agents in Noble County.

The crash happened just before 9 a.m. Monday south of Perry.

Investigators said the driver was headed northbound on I-35, with at least eight other people in the Suburban.

Officials said the driver fell asleep at the wheel, the Suburban veered into the center median and when the driver over corrected, it slid and rolled one and a half times.

An 18-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Two other men were taken to the hospital.

Meanwhile, immigration and customs enforcement agents took five other passengers into custody.

We’re told the driver was taken to the Noble County sheriff’s office.

No word on whether he’ll be facing any charges.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, more people were inside the car but some of them fled the scene.
