BEN HARTVIGSEN
Sarasota High, senior
• Defending HTPreps Runner of the Year won the Class 4A state meet for the second straight year, finishing in a time of 15 minutes, 27 seconds. Also placed 14th in the Foot Locker South Regional in 15:31 and notched a personal best of 15:08 in the Great American Cross Country Festival in Cary, North Carolina. In addition, won the 4A-Region 2 and 4A-District 6 titles along with the North Port Invitational and Seffner Christian Invitational.
MATTHEW LYONS
Manatee High, senior
• Finished 31st at the Class 4A state meet and set a personal best of 16 minutes, 19 seconds by taking eighth at the 4A-Region 2 meet. Won the Bradenton Runners Club Invitational and the Tri-County Championship and finished second in the flrunners.com Invitational.
JONATHAN REID
Lakewood Ranch High, senior
• Finished second at the Class 4A state meet in 15 minutes, 49 seconds. Also had a personal best of 15:46 in winning the Last Chance Invite at Lake Minneola High in Clermont.

• Led the Sailors to the Class 4A state title. Also coached the Sarasota High girls to a runner-up finish.

Sarasota High, senior
• Finished 62nd at the Class 4A state meet in 17 minutes, 3 seconds. Took 51st at the Foot Locker South Regional in 17:18. Set a personal best of 16:30 at the 4A-Region 2 meet.
ORLANDO CICILIONI
Sarasota High, sophomore
• Finished 39th at the Class 4A state meet in 16 minutes, 44 seconds. Placed 30th in the Foot Locker South Regional in 17:03. Posted a personal best of 16:39 at the 4A-Region 2 meet.
RYAN GUENDJOIAN
Sarasota High, junior
• Finished 16th at the Class 4A state meet in a personal best of 16 minutes, 23 seconds.
JOHN PEREZ
Port Charlotte High, senior
• Finished 21st at the Class 3A state meet in a personal-best 16 minutes, 32 seconds and placed 14th in the FACA Senior All-Star Classic in 16:41. Also won the 3A-District 11 meet and the Tri-County Championships.
ALAN ROMERO
Sarasota High, senior
• Finished 18th at the Class 4A state meet in 16 minutes, 26 seconds. Set a personal record of 16:16 at the North Port Invitational. Finished second at the Lemon Bay Invitational.
