Depression Be Gone!

How to Help Yourself or Others Who Suffer

While you may know from our October newsletter that nearly half of women are undermethylating (inadequate biochemical processes leading to unhealthy DNA, gene expression and protein production) and at risk for breast cancer, do you know that their depression (if present) may also be due to undermethylation?

In fact, 95% of depressive disorders may be due to:
  • Undermethylation – 38%
  • Folate deficiency – 20%
  • Copper overload – 17%
  • Pyrrole disorder – 15% (low B-6 and zinc)
  • Toxic Overlaod – 5%
Please comprehend the significance of these numbers, as they mean that perhaps:

95% of depressive disorders may be treatable through nutrition and nutraceuticals.

Many undermethylated individuals are intolerant of folates, choline, DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol) and pantothenic acid supplements and should avoid excess manganese and copper.

This means that without knowing it, many women (and men) are consuming foods and supplements that may actually be altering their mood and sabotaging their relationships and well-being!

Imagine: someone you love who has been suffering from potentially debilitating depression, either chronically or in bouts. What if testing could reveal the underlying conditions, foods and supplements that have been sabotaging them? Can you imagine their sense of relief in learning this? Or that by simply adding/avoiding certain foods and nutrients that they may have more control over their mood, relating with others and well-being? How encouraging!

If this resonates with you, please share and learn more about these conditions, testing, nutrition and nutraceuticals with this book and have an informed discussion with a qualified health practitioner.

If you would like to dialogue with me on my recovery efforts and resources and/or share your experience, please reply or email tirza@thermogramcenter.com.

How to Have a Dialogue About Mammograms vs Thermograms

Many clients ask for mammography information that they can share with others. Here are some thoughts:

Women who want prevention choose thermography.

Mammography does not prevent cancer. It is meant to support detection, though it falls short along many attributes. There is such growing evidence about the shortcomings of mammography that the Swiss Medical Board has recommended "completely abolishing mammogram screenings." I say, "Wow. It's about time."

'Tis the Season for Bone Broth!

Stave off the cold and flu with bone broth.

Not only are bone broth soups and stews incredibly healing and nutritious, they are amazingly easy to make since prep time may be under 20 minutes. (Cooking or crock pot time may be 24 - 72 hours). Use organic/grass fed animal marrow bones and add the veggies, herbs and spices you most enjoy. Here are several recipes to get your creative juices flowing!
