Losing his beloved mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, wasn’t Anderson Cooper’s only summer heartbreak. RadarOnline.com has learned that CNN’s silver fox and his latest hunk have apparently split after just over a year of dating.
As RadarOnline.com previously revealed, the 52-year-old TV personality ditched longtime boyfriend Benjamin Maisani in early 2018 when he lassoed muscled-up Texas cowboy Dr. Victor Lopez.
Maisani and another former Cooper catch, Julio Cesar Recio, were by the grieving newsman’s side at Vanderbilt’s funeral in New York City on June 18 — but the handsome 34-year-old doctor was nowhere to be seen.
Meanwhile, Cooper and BFF Andy Cohen‘s circle of friends are urging the two men to take their friendship to the next level by starting a romance of their own!
The longtime pals’ bond is undeniable. Said a source: “Anderson and Andy just get along so well already and there is such amazing chemistry between them.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Cooper and Cohen, 51 were spotted “living it up” at NYC’s recent Gay Pride event.

“Andy and Anderson were both shirtless, and extremely friendly with fans,” an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com. “They could not get a smile off either of their faces all night.”
But don’t feel bad for Lopez. The good doctor seems to have already moved on, having been spotted on social media in multiple pictures with his arms draped around a number of handsome studs.
