Sweet & Innocent Lily Collins Is The 'Most Dangerous Celebrity': Perhaps It's Those Sheer Dresses?

She might look sweet and innocent but Lily Collins has topped the poll of most dangerous celebrities to search on the internet. Apparently searching for the actress puts your computer at a “14.5% chance of landing on a page that tested positive for spam, adware, spyware, viruses or other malware," according to a study.

It's not a good idea to look up anything about the ''The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones' star online, according to the report by internet security company McAfee.

Other stars you might want to avoid googling include Avril Lavigne, Sandra Bullock, Kathy Griffin and Zoe Saldana, Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Adriana Lima the study revealed.

Apparently female stars are more damaging to your computer than male, as the only man to appear on the list is Mad Men actor Jon Hamm.

Luckily as internet change rapidly, Lily is unlikely to remain a theat to web surfers as last year's most dangerous celebrity to search - Emma Watson - didn't even make the Top 10 this year.

If you are worried about searching for your favourite celeb just in case you get a virus, McAfee have offered some handy advice:

1. Be suspicious - If a search turns up a link to free content or too-good-to-be-true offers.

2. Be extra cautious when searching on hot topics - Cybercriminals set up fake and malicious sites that dominate these time-sensitive search results.

3. Check the Web address - Look for misspellings or other clues that the link might be directed to a phony website.

As Robert Siciliano, McAfee online security and safety specialist, notes in a blog post about this year's Most Dangerous list, "while it's probably not feasible for us to stop searching on the latest hot topics and celebrity gossip, we can make sure we are safe while doing so."
