How Zio works.

Your physician prescribes a Zio ambulatory cardiac monitor that is applied in the clinic or at home. It records every heartbeat.
Simply wear the monitor and mail it back to Zio at the end of your wear period.
The recording is analyzed and Zio identifies any irregular rhythms you’ve experienced.
An actionable report is sent to your physician to help determine a diagnosis.

Zio vs. Holter monitoring.

The Zio monitor can be comfortably worn for up to 14 days. Holter monitors can be worn for 24 to 48 hours, limiting the time to record any irregular heart rhythms you may have.

What’s it like to wear Zio?

See a step-by-step video of the Zio experience from beginning to end.

Zio is a prescription-only, single patient use, continuously recording ECG monitoring system that can be worn for up to 14 days.

It is indicated for use with patients 18 years or older who may be asymptomatic or who may suffer from transient symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, light-headedness, pre-syncope, syncope, fatigue, or anxiety.

Zio is not intended for patients that have a known history of life threatening arrhythmias or require real-time cardiac monitoring.

During wear, patients may experience skin irritation. Do not use if you have known allergic reactions to adhesives or hydrogels or have a family history of adhesive skin allergies.
