News Item: The Inaugural SF Vegan Bakesale!!!

Sort of. There was already the Worldwide Vegan Bakesale last June, and it went so well (read: they made gangbusters money off the hungry people waiting in line at Ike’s) that a consortium of the city’s coolest vegans with the sickest dairy-free baking skillz want to make it a regular thing! Or at least, do it again and see how that goes.  It will probably go really well because that’s what generally happens when you have a table full of delicious baked goods.

Of course it’s for a good cause, because vegans can’t just be looking out for number one. (That’s kind of the whole idea right?) So proceeds from the bakesale will go Gimme Shelter Cat Rescue, to save KITTENS ON DEATH ROW holy shit have you no heart??

Check it out Saturday October 17th, one month from today, in front of Ike’s Place (3506 16th Street at oh come on you know where Ike’s is fine it’s Sanchez can’t you go anywhere without Google Maps?), let’s say 11a-4p.

We badly need volunteers, eaters, bakers, paper plates, compostable to-go containers & flatware, and hella publicity to make this awesome so mobilize, vegan (pacifist) army and email laura@vegansaurus.com if you can/want to/feel obligated to pitch in! Let’s make this happen!!!
