In my family, we learned to love tea at a young age. The adults drank coffee too but we almost always had hot or cold tea available any time of day or night. As an adult, I still like my tea, no matter what season it is. I especially love trying different bulk tea blends or fruit infusions! The latest glass infuser from Libre Tea is great for hot or cold beverages, so lately I am enjoying loose tea on the go.

My Review
One of the reasons I have come to love bulk tea orders are the wide variety of flavor I can get from just a few ingredients from around the world! Whether I do green tea, black tea, or even herbal tea (which usually has no tea leaves in it), I can brew it just the way I like it. Normally that’s a little honey for sweetness and strong on the brew strength.
But enjoying loose tea on the go can be a challenge. It’s not like I can easily carry around my gallon pitcher with me to the store or running errands all day long. And if I brew it by the cup like when I’m at home, I’ll be out of tea before I leave the driveway. So the fact that the Libre’s Pearl glass infuser holds 14 ounces is great for when I’m busy but want to have my tea.
Plus, since I brew mine strong, I can easily add more hot water when I’m out to make another albeit weaker serving of tea.
Here’s the innovative part of the design for Libre Tea. It doesn’t use a mesh basket to infuse your tea or herbs into the water. The tea is actually loose (if you use bulk tea) and the filter is at the top where you drink from. I only found the very smallest of particles getting through, but it wasn’t something that I felt, only when I poured some into a glass to see. And if your tea isn’t ground finely then this wouldn’t be an issue at all! You can also use a traditional tea bag set up and just have it under the mesh filter for brewing.
I don’t want to ignore all the non-tea drinkers out there! Since this is a glass bottle, it can easily hold other liquids, even coffee drinks or fruit infused water. Plus the glass doesn’t absorb odors or stains like some of the plastic bottles available out there, and there are a number of colors and sizes available from Libre Tea for your preference. Enjoying loose tea on the go has never been easier and I’d suggest ordering more than one so you can always have a clean one ready to go in the cabinet.
